The ART ME provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The ART ME offers a pleasant stay in Kunming for those traveling for business or leisure. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 4km from Kunming Railway Station and 27km from Kunming Changshui International Airport. In addition, WUYI RD. Metro Station is just a short walk away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Shuncheng Mosque, Paper-thin Building in Kunming Old Street and Yunnan Tea Culture Museum all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Kunming hotel features parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

I booked one night at first, and stayed four days in the end. This is my second time staying at this hotel - the first time I had a red room, this time I had the yellow room. Every room is distinct with unique artwork, designs, and furnishing, so you can pick one that fits your needs and mood. I love the bold colors and nod to Yunnan culture with a contemporary flair.
The hotel is on a trendy street with lots of eateries and shopping. A few minutes away, you’ll get to Nanping street with more options. Right below the hotel, there’s a drinks shop that opens late. Be aware that since it’s on a commercial street, there will be noise at night. Some nights are quieter than others, and you’re provided with earplugs if you need them.
The staff at the front desk are really nice and helpful. They’re not overly engaged, but they’re always available to help when needed and were generous in accommodating my needs. Artme will continue to be my go to when I’m here!

Cute little hotel in a good location and staff were very friendly and helpful!
Only issue was that room was advertised as non-smoking however, arrived to find a strong smoke smell and even an ash tray in room. It seems whether it is smoking / non smoking changes for each guest and not a dedicated ‘non-smoking room’.
As other guests have noted, given its central location there can be a lot of noise in the evening. The hotel did provide ear plugs and wasn’t an issue for us, but sensitive sleepers should note.
Overall, a good stay and would visit again soon. Thank you!

Dear guests, thank you for your recognition and appreciation of Amis Hostel. Your evaluation is what keeps us going. The little fans are very happy to see your recognition of our service. The hotel is designed with ten ethnic minorities as its concept and is different in style and design. Because the hotel is located in the city center, Kunming old street, Nanqiang night market in the vicinity, Eating, drinking and playing were convenient, and walking downstairs in more than 10 minutes was a great choice. Also, because the hotel was on a pedestrian street, we had double-glazed glass in each room and had earplugs for use. Looking forward to your next visit! I wish you a happy life!

This place is amazing! My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave. Sitting outside and having coffee was so relaxing. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful—we absolutely loved it! We’ll definitely come back again! ❤️

Nice hotel near the shopping district. Hotel is small but nicely decorated. It was comfortable one night stay. They allowed us to keep the luggages there on the last day and gave us flower cakes when we leave.
