A hotel that cares about its guests!
The food is top class, not many dishes but new menu every night and always just as good!
Here you go for rest and peace and quiet as it is 16 years as the age limit at the hotel.

Det glæder mig virkelig at læse, at du oplevede Fredensborg Badehotel som et sted, der tager godt hånd om sine gæster. Din ros af vores personale, maden, den smukke udsigt og de hyggelige omgivelser betyder rigtig meget for os.
Jeg er også glad for, at du fremhæver vores skiftende aftenmenu. Vores køkken arbejder med sæsonens råvarer, og derfor varierer menuen fra dag til dag, så vores gæster kan få nye smagsoplevelser.
Tak for de flotte ord. Jeg håber, vi får fornøjelsen af at byde dig velkommen tilbage til endnu et afslappende ophold ved havet.

3/5 because of the food.
The hotel is very clean with ample parking (rent car on this island, taxis are very unreliable) and service is friendly. There is a pool, jacuzzi (water changed between guests!), and a gym.
The not so good and why 3/5 points: We stayed for dinner upon arrival and that was, frankly, abysmal. The food had no salt (I guess low-sodium diet for the average guest in this establishment) and was extremely bland. Dinner service was pathetic: No single dish was cleared from the table (yes, plates piling up) during dinner and it often took ages for someone to notice us if we needed something. Definitely NOT a place I want to dine again. This is unfortunate, because the hotel otherwise would have been fantastic.
Will I come back? Yes, but skip the dinner service...

I’m delighted to read that you enjoyed our location, the peaceful atmosphere, the sea view, your room, and the quality of your sleep. It is also wonderful to hear your kind words about the cleanliness of the hotel, our facilities, and our team.
I am, however, truly sorry that your dinner experience did not live up to your expectations. Your description of both the food and the service is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and it does not reflect the feedback we usually receive from our guests. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the view from your room and balcony - it’s always wonderful when our surroundings can contribute to a special occasion.
I must admit I’m a bit puzzled, as your review was posted six months after our season has ended, and we are still currently closed. I’m not certain when your stay took place, so I just wanted to clarify this, as we want to ensure we fully understand your experience.

One of Bornholm's best bathing hotels
We have visited some of Bornholm’s bathing hotels and Hotel Fredensborg has been the best experience so far.
The service is at the top, the food is sublime and there is peace and tranquillity.
Room with views invite to peace of mind as we were guaranteed a good night's sleep in very comfortable beds. Even though it is close to the airport, you are not bothered by air traffic.
Can be highly recommended.

Breakfast was just as it should be.
You can borrow bicycles for free.
We had two fantastic days.
The hotel is fantastic.
We can only recommend it strongly if you want to have a romantic trip with your partner.
