Really friendly and nice service, and big rooms. Not very newly renovated, but still very nice and clean.

Nice but weird

We arrive at the hotel. There is no staff but a board with a description of our rooms and a number we can call if we want breakfast.
I call and write several times
They answer after we have left the next day
The room was fine
Payment does not go through hotels or bookings
A bit weird but ..okay

Centre piece of a little village

A charming little village near the coast which was ideal for our business trip to the Danish Army Combat centre. The hotel was right at the heart of the village and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was really nice and the rooms were clean, tidy and had a modern feel.
You have to remember that the village pub and bars shut at 2130 hrs during the week but was grateful for an early night and waking without the weary feeling in the morning. I would recommend it.

You get what you pay for

Toristhotellet is a fine little hotel for a night or two. The operation is reduced to a minimum. There is no reception, but the staff at the attached restaurant is very nice and helpful. If you check in after hours 8 pm you must make arrangements with the hotel.
The rooms are small but clean. There is no air conditioning and there may be some noise from the street. There is Wifi in the rooms but in the room we stayed in it seemed only to work periodically and the connection was weak.
Breakfast is adapted to the number of guests and can be a buffet or serving for each guest.
There is free parking behind the hotel.
The city itself has little to offer. There's alright museum of fire engines and Danish tanks and Amber museum is surprisingly interesting. The hotel restaurant is the only restaurant in town and there are a few pizzerias.

Ok

Clean and nice touristhotel with very delicious restaurant.
When we checked in we got an exact price for room and staying but when leaving after four nights they had added extraprices for services we were not told about. This is pretty Danish habit, I think. But not very nice...
(No swimming pool as rated below...)
