Like in a fairy tale

Mamallacta is a magical place. I love the decor, it makes you feel like you're in a story. The food is super rich, there is variety of dishes for all tastes. The rooms are super comfortable and clean.
It is a place to connect with nature.

100% overrated

We went to lunch in a group of friends and the service was terrible and disorganized.
The very bad food, I ordered the scallop and lamb burger (completely dry and flavorless) the burnt and bitter onion jam and the sourdough bread (which was actually Bimbo burger bread).
Several comments about the bad taste of the food, the delay in serving and one of my friends never brought the dish and when we told them we were kept waiting 30 minutes more for a poorly made pasta with excess squid ink and two shrimp.
A total scam the restaurant and a pity as the place is nice.

Great family stay

Amazing, unique lodging with lots of art and things to keep the family occupied during downtime (table tennis, foosball, darts, etc). It's right next to the hot springs and there are a number of restaurants nearby if you want to try something different than their kitchen (which was tasty). Breakfast was included and they have a bar for drinks at night. The staff were also super friendly and helpful.

Unparalleled!

Spectacular! Unique! A must visit! Don’t miss out! There is nothing like this Lodge! There are so many great things I can praise Mamallacta for.
Yet, above all is the great customer service. The staff are fellow travelers whom backpacked around the globe.
They are so helpful and kind. They make you feel so welcomed you may think you are visiting life long friends. They will provide you with great service and priceless tips about the local area or anywhere in the world you plan to visit next. Be ready for an Unparalleled experience.
¡Espectacular! ¡Único! ¡Totalmente debes hacerlo! ¡No te lo pierdas! ¡No hay nada igual este Lodge! Hay tantas cosas maravillosas por las que puedo elogiar a Mamallacta. Sin embargo, por encima de todo está el excelente servicio al cliente. El personal son mochileros que viajaron por todo el mundo. Son muy serviciales y amables. Te hacen sentir tan bienvenido que puedes pensar que estás visitando a amigos de toda la vida. Te brindarán un excelente servicio y consejos invaluables sobre el área local o cualquier parte del mundo que planees visitar a continuación. Prepárate para una experiencia incomparable.

This lodge is my happy place

This was my second stay, and based on my limited experience, the place keeps getting better. The same magnificent views, the same warm hospitality, the same fun, artistic touches, but also a bunch of small improvements. The wifi seemed more reliable than I remember from my Jan 2023 stay, the timed lights in the hallway didn’t turn off while I was still fumbling with my door, the smoky wood stove had been replaced with a different style of heater, and I believe common spaces are being improved/expanded (roof terrace, back patio).
My room could not have been more comfortable, and the views - just wow. The staff and owner go above and beyond, from picking me up at the airport (thank you, Jonathan), to letting me check in early after my red-eye flight (thank you, Juan), to making sure my breakfast was different each day (though I could have eaten the molido de verde over and over without complaint), to providing tons of information about the country and region (thank you, Cesar).
So glad I stayed multiple nights to take full advantage of the location! Already fantasizing about my next trip…
