Flee this residence if you want to sleep a little
A number of apartments are located in front of a nightclub open every evening until 6am. Apartments very poorly soundproofed (even closed windows), the music resonates until 6am and after the partygoers go out on the street and you are well placed to hear their discussions.
Direction perfectly aware of the situation, still rents these apartments very poorly located and very expensive for their situation, Customer Service does not answer the email sent after sleepless night..

La ville de Biscarrosse connait une affluence conséquente sur la saison estivale, celle-ci étant hautement touristique. Notre résidence étant idéalement situé (150m à pieds de l'océan) certaines nuisances extérieures à notre enseigne peuvent exister, nous en sommes navrés pour vous et ce séjour

Very disappointed
Really average bedding.
In short not to rent in summer even though the residence is well located in relation to the ocean and the city center.

Nous sommes ravis de lire que la situation effectivement exceptionnelle de la résidence aura su vous plaire, toutefois, cet atout indéniable implique donc une proximité avec plusieurs établissements nocturnes, que nous ne pouvons empêcher de fonctionner.

Good, but...
The studio was overall good. Clean, well equipped, the kitchenette had appliances in good condition, even a large fridge. The furniture was ok as well, beds were fine, but not very comfortable, as it's often the case in this kind of hotel. The room was acoustically well isolated from other apartments. However, we had parties going on almost all nigths during our stay, which is not the best if you want to rest. They had paying parking places, that were fine and useful.
Service was ok as well, staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed. Nothing to say.
Now the bad points:
- value: I consider the price we paid was higher than I would expect for what it delivers.
- the swimming pool was barely heated and since it has a very little solar exposure, it was always very cold. This particular feature was very important to us, and unfortunately we could not spend a lot of time in the water.
- the worst issue we found was a very serious pigeon infestation. It means that all the internal hallways were always dirty with birds excrement and even eggshells from pigeons that lived on the roof of the residence. Despite the efforts of the staff, who cleaned all the place every two days, everything was disgusting again within some hours. Even the swimming pool foot bath was full of excrements, which made it complicated to go to the swimming pool.
The place has a good potential, some minor problems need attention though. The first thing is to eliminate the birds from the roof and keep the place clean. We could not walk around without stepping on bird excrement. That's almost a sanitary problem for me, and must be corrected ASAP.
