Incredibly beautiful!
Incredibly beautiful.
I ate the best piece of meat with thyme gravy, never had anything so good!
2girls who worked did everything, carried luggage, stood in reception, bartender etc. Good job!
The room was without ac, which I can understand when the building was from the 13th century.
The breakfast was small but it had what I wanted anyway.

This place is amazing. We did an 8 day road trip staying in several establishments an the Codignat was by far our favorite. And the food is 5 star. This is the one place that we will for sure return to.

Beautiful Venue, But Extremely Poor Planning Experience
We had our wedding at this venue and, while the day itself was ultimately beautiful, the planning process was far more stressful than it should ever have been due to extremely poor coordination and unreliable communication.
In the lead-up to the wedding, we experienced repeated delays in responses, conflicting information, and a lack of accountability. On one occasion, we waited three weeks for a response to an important email. We were also given inaccurate or misleading information that had direct consequences for both our budget and our guests, which was incredibly frustrating and avoidable.
We frequently had to chase for answers, clarify details multiple times, and manage aspects ourselves that should have been handled professionally. Instead of feeling supported, we felt anxious and, at times, completely unsupported during what should have been an exciting time.
Partway through, a new coordinator (Bruno Ibanez) stepped in, and the difference was immediate and significant. Communication became clear and timely, organisation improved dramatically, and for the first time we felt confident that everything was under control. This change is the reason our wedding day ran smoothly and why we were able to truly enjoy it.
For that reason, it is genuinely concerning to learn that the previous coordinator, Leila Srirat, has now returned to the role. This, from our understanding, is because she is family of the owner. Based on our experience, we cannot overstate how much the quality of coordination impacted our overall experience. We would strongly urge any future couples to confirm who will be managing their wedding and ensure they have someone reliable, responsive, and organised throughout the process.
This is a venue with the potential to deliver an incredible wedding day—but our experience shows that poor coordination can significantly undermine what should be a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Surprise stay at 2
We did not know our destination (surprise weekend) and we are delighted to have stayed at the castle. Everything is done to feel good and spend a moment in a quiet and beautiful place. We have dinner at the restaurant. Quality and hearty meals. Breakfast is served in a charming room and is very varied.
The welcome is very warm.

Our second stay at the chateau, and the highlight of our drive from Sitges to Brighton. It’s a truly special place. Wonderful staff and food. It’s such a treat to stay here.
