A pleasant surprise

We were pleasantly surprised. This is an old style hotel right on the port with beautiful views. Our room was comfortable, very clean and well located. I would recommend the sea view rooms with little balconies. The communal areas are a little dated and there is no fridge/tra facilities but overall I have no complaint, this hotel was excellent value for what we paid for it in such a great location.

Well Located Hotel In Cassis For A Short Stay

Hotel Le Golfe was a good hotel for a quick one night visist to Cassis. Located on the waterfront you could not beat the location, a major positive. The rooms were small and fairly basic although very clean and neatly presented. Check in time was strictly 3:00 PM and hot water limited (none) early AM and no soap dispenser in the shower, minor irritations. The restaurant attached was a good one. For one night, this place did the trick, the location the key major plus factor.

Very small room. Wont stay here again.

We were given what seems like a small single room with a small bed and pokey bathroom but told 'it is a double'. Eventually after many discussions we were moved to a grim room next to the street with people walking right past our window. There are better places to stay in Cassis

Do NOT let the 2 star put you off

Do NOT let its 2 star over view put you off! Its situation is perfect, with a no through road, no traffic. The food is wonderful, fresh good quality and flavoursome. Our down side… the bed wasn’t long enough for us, but we are 6’ and 6’6
This hotel has friendly staff, its clean, the food is great and its position is absolutely perfect for all cassis has to offer… ask for the address for the parking or the sat nav will try and take you through the tiniest back streets! We will be back!

Good for a night or two

The host is great. It's a little dated and it's really basic in the rooms. It is clean and the bed although tired remains comfortable. For a night or two that's good. Problem of parking in Cassis, ; finding free is a feat
