Super Duper!!
Great Place. The owner, his wife, sister and daughter are all hopping around to give this upbeat hotel a lot of character and warmth. The owner insisted on booking us at a great restaurant that was delicious, reasonably priced and a nice 10 minute walk away. True hospitality and a super morning breakfast. Top notch…. The Hawaiians!

No hot water!! Shambles of a hotel.
No hot water! We had no hot water for our 4 night stay. Every day we asked about it and each time we were treated in a dismissive way as if it was normal and we were being unreasonable complaining!
Added to that the 2 rooms our family had were dusty and there was no wifi.
Also the aircon was very noisy so we opened our window but it was very noisy outside all night.
There was no shower curtains- even if we had hot water we couldn’t have showered.
In general the hotel is dilapidated, tiles falling off the walls on the staircase, and corridor lights that keep switching off.
They have a lift but it is obviously unsafe to use as they have a sign on it saying only one person and to stop anymore getting in it they have a bollard in the lift!
Absolute shambles. Which is a pity as Collioure is lovely.

Nous souhaitons apporter quelques précisions concernant votre commentaire.
Concernant l’eau chaude, un problème technique sur notre chaudière est malheureusement survenu. Ce type de panne peut arriver et reste indépendant de notre volonté. Nous avons réagi rapidement afin de faire intervenir les personnes compétentes. Il est donc inexact d’affirmer que vous êtes restés 4 jours sans eau chaude. Le petit déjeuner vous a été également offert pour les 4 jours.
Concernant la propreté des chambres, lors du check-in, il est demandé aux clients s’ils souhaitent bénéficier de la recouche. Vous avez fait le choix de la refuser ; il est donc surprenant de nous reprocher ensuite l’absence de ménage durant votre séjour.
Nos climatisations sont par ailleurs entretenues régulièrement afin de garantir leur bon fonctionnement.
Pour l’ascenseur, celui-ci est parfaitement conforme et sécurisé. S’il présentait le moindre danger, il ne serait évidemment pas mis à disposition de nos clients. Il est effectivement de petite taille et limité à une personne, ce qui correspond à sa configuration.

No hot water and terrible management attitude
Worst ever hotel experience. No hot water when we arrived and for our entire 4 night stay. What made it so much worse was the attitude of management who were not prepared to give any reduction or provide alternative shower arrangements. They took full payment from our pre-authorised cards the day before we checked out. Even if hot water had been working the shower facilities are poor as there is no shower curtain. In addition, the bathroom blind was broken and lighting on the staircases and corridors switches off, leaving you in the dark, trying to find the switch. A shoddy, uncaring establishment.

Concernant la salle de bains, votre chambre dispose d’une baignoire, conçue pour prendre un bain. Il n’y a donc pas de rideau de douche.
Pour l’éclairage des escaliers et des couloirs, les interrupteurs sont clairement indiqués à chaque étage par une petite lumière rouge, permettant de les repérer facilement.
Enfin, concernant l’attitude de la responsable, nous ne partageons pas votre appréciation. Elle a toujours fait preuve de professionnalisme et de disponibilité face à une situation technique exceptionnelle, malgré une attitude de votre part que nous n’avons pas jugée particulièrement respectueuse.
Nous souhaitions simplement rétablir ces éléments afin que les futurs clients disposent d’informations précises et objectives.

To be avoided
Stay of August 23rd. No hot water during the entire stay, water heater system failure according to management....Bathroom/toilet door that swelled and cannot fit into its frame and therefore cannot close.
Rustic elevator limited to 1 person only. No parking possibility, even paid, in front of the hotel (full), so 300m to walk with luggage....
And the management not granting any discount on the rate at 143.58e per night despite our request and given the circumstances.... Establishment to be avoided.

Concernant l’eau chaude, un problème technique sur notre chaudière est survenu durant votre séjour. Vous aviez d’ailleurs été contacté avant votre arrivée afin d’en être informé. Le problème a été pris en charge dans les meilleurs délais.
L’eau était à environ 30 °C et le petit déjeuner a été offert à l’ensemble des clients concernés.
Pour le parking, notre établissement indique clairement avant toute réservation qu’il ne dispose pas de parking privé. La veille de chaque arrivée, nous contactons nos clients afin de leur communiquer les différentes possibilités de stationnement à proximité. Il s’agit ensuite de parkings publics que nous ne gérons pas et dont nous ne pouvons garantir la disponibilité.
Concernant l’ascenseur, il correspond à la configuration de notre établissement. Il est effectivement de petite taille, mais il est parfaitement fonctionnel et reste particulièrement utile pour nos clients.

Cute family run hotel right in the midst of the city
A very cute family run hotel right on the main strip. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. HIghly recommended. Despite being on one of the main strip of restaurants the rooms were very quiet.
