A great find

What a great find. Staff excellent couldnt be more pleasent or helpful. Rooms basic but clean and large. We arrived early and didn't have the key code with us.... not a problem but English isn't spoken freely so took a while. Breakfast, very French but great. Thank you. Will 100% recommend

Simple breakfast and no plate or spoon available. Beds and room are clean but bathroom is old and disgusting, I didn't dare to take a shower, no shampoo no hand soap.

Worst hotel ever stayed at unable to check in on first night as hotel locked. Sat outside for 2 hours then had to go to another hotel at €109 for night. Hotel Clos did not respond to phone or text while we were sat outside!

Friendly stop in the heart of Loudun

Stage hotel for us and very satisfying.the hotel is simple with an inner courtyard for parking.
The welcome is very friendly.The price very correct.
The rooms are simple but large configured as a convalescent home but everything is clean the very friendly welcome.
Breakfast is very good and hearty.
We recommend this hotel in the beautiful village of Loudun.
We'll be right back.

A perfect ex sous-préfecture Hotel

Location was easily walkable to town centre. Parking was free and off-street. Reception was unmanned on our arrival but all the technology wizardry worked as it should and we could enter the building and the room.
The lack of a physical key was unnerving as a flat phone battery or lack of 4or 5g could mean locked out! But this didn't happen...
ROOM was clean, bright and well equipped with blinds and (electric persiana) shutters. BATHROOM was a spacious 'wetroom' it all worked well.
Room was on ground level so ideal for disabled guests
No English/American channels on TV.
Breakfast buffet was fresh and adequate
