Comfortable bed and very good location; only the shower is small.

Located directly at the subway station – it takes about a minute to the entrance. The rooms are relatively small, but have everything necessary and are air-conditioned. The bed was very comfortable, I slept excellently. The style is modern and trendy, everything seems relatively new.
The only real weak point is the shower: It is small and cramped. Anyone who is taller or has broader shoulders will feel cramped in it – it is hardly possible to stand in it sideways.
Downstairs, the bar in the lobby area invites you to linger, with small snacks and drinks. A gym is also available, but it is in the directly connected neighboring hotel (access see tips).
You know what you get with a Moxy: not a luxury hotel, but well done all around. A recommendation from me.

A normal hotel that looks good at first, but the rating looks bad afterwards.

You cannot lock the bathroom, which is really bad, and many things that are in the description are not available.

Location is good, staff is hospitable and reminds us the parking info since their garage is full.
Clean and good function, just no fridge in the room.

The Moxy has a good hotel very close to the center of Dortmund..

The hotel is very nice and elegant and is located close to the center so it is easy to get around. The rooms are comfortable but I saw no safe and that point is important. The bed is fine and the bathroom very nice with its shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The breakfast is very basic but good. I think there are few staff to serve large groups of people. Overall I think I would repeat this hotel.

Overall a very nice stay. The hotel is conveniently located next to a metro station and only 10 mins walk to the HBF. Safe area, central. The only thing that lets the place down is some of its staff. Whilst check-in and check-out were fine, two members of staff working the Tuesday evening shift were particularly unfriendly. This is not uncommon for Germany - it is not the friendliest country in the world by any stretch of the imagination, but the staff are representatives of the brand (Moxy) and, having stayed at one of their hotels in the Netherlands earlier this year, I really had higher expectations. I was ignored by the girl at the bar who saw I needed assistance yet continued to load the dishwasher. It is almost as if my presence there was an imposition and an inconvenience. Not very nice. Again, I understand the cultural issues here, but please do better.
