Liebe Grüße

Good accommodations, nice location near the Hilden Railway, clean and secure, enjoy everything, great breakfasts, warm family service, parking, near the restaurant facilities, convenient shops, if you don't want to go anywhere, the hotel has a water tank and a little chocolate to eat.

No flexibility, the constant feeling of being a nuisance to the hoteliers.

The rooms are clean, and the amenities are okay. In our bathroom, there was no exhaust or ventilation, which caused a musty smell. As part of a course, a breakfast table was set for us. The selection was sufficient. When asked about a type of egg dish, the response was "unfortunately no." Other guests had a breakfast egg on their table the next day. We do not know what they had to do for that.
Due to the heat, our course instructor requested to take breakfast (to the climbing hall) because we wanted to start before 8 AM, but breakfast was only available from 8 AM. Completely unreasonable for business people and early risers. She received the approval with gritted teeth. The selection was reduced to one type of jam, one package of Edam cheese, and rolls; coffee and fruit were available upon further request. Honey, jam, vegetables, and other cold cuts were omitted. That certainly saves the hotel staff money. If travelers are satisfied with a clean bed and breakfast, the monopoly suffices. Anyone who travels for work and wants to feel like they are only working all the time should look for another hotel. The course takes place two to three times a year in Hilden with about 12 people. In the future, a different accommodation will likely be booked. No idea what concept the operators are following. It's a shame, really.

Cozy, prime location in Hilden

The hotel is in a prime location, directly across the street from the town's main train station. I stayed for 5 nights. Great if you're looking for a small, budget hotel. Rooms are clean and well kept. Kris is a very attentive host. Underneath the hotel is Restaurant Intensiu, which is a fine dining establishment. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, and the staff is very accommodating.

Geschmack + Wein = Pervers

Der Titel spricht Bände. Das 6 Gänge Menü hat mich komplett umgehauen, die Wein Paarung auch. Wir wollten uns nicht langweilen und bei Gott, wir haben uns nicht gelangweilt. Service 11/10, keine Fehler, super drauf, klare Empfehlung!

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit super gemütlichen Betten

Wir waren letzte Woche zum ersten Mal Gast im Hotel Monopol. Die etwas weitere Anreise hat sich absolut gelohnt. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und waren sehr begeistert von der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter und der gemütlichen Zimmer. Das absolute Highlight war am Abend der Besuch im hauseigenen Restaurant Intensiu. Es war ein absolutes Erlebnis!!! Es hat wirklich von Anfang bis Ende alles gepasst. Das Ambiente im Restaurant war einfach der Hammer! Herr Bratec und sein Team sind Meister in dem was sie tun. Hier ist man einfach gut aufgehoben. Wir haben direkt bei Abreise nochmal gebucht und freuen uns auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.
