Unexpected Surprise
What a fantastically beautiful Hotel with a wonderfully quiet location lots of history and a wonderful spa.
Food in the restaurant is high quality and breakfast is also good

Top Hotel
Our room was large, comfortable and well-equipped, exactly what you want after a busy day. Cleanliness was spot on, no complaints there at all.
Breakfast was really good quality, though slightly inconsistent. Some items appeared on the menu one day and not the next, and at busier times the staff were clearly a little stretched. A few extra hands at breakfast would make a big difference, but it’s a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things.
We didn’t use the spa or pool during our visit, but both looked lovely and the spa prices seemed very reasonable for treatments, definitely something we’d take advantage of next time. The bar and public areas are beautifully decorated too, though as we were there for a group party with organised events, we didn’t really get a chance to make the most of them.
The grounds are pretty and well-kept, and the location is ideal, just a few minutes’ walk from the town and the lake.
All in all, a stunning place to stay. We’d happily come back.

Definitely recommendable - really a nice place

Always worth a visit (or even several).
The organization of our family celebration was excellent.
The overnight stay was excellent again.
The service was very friendly and accommodating.
All in all, we were completely satisfied and would gladly return whenever needed.
The hotel, the location, and the surroundings are always worth a visit (or several).
