Old and cosy

Nice, cozy and old hotel. Large rooms, great beds and downstairs also a restaurant where you can eat nice and affordable

Congeniality

We only came here for dinner and that could be done outside on the terrace. Very nice service.
We went for the schnitzel and Wild goulash.
Both generous portions.
We give both dishes a 7 because the schnitzel was a bit hard here and there and in the goulash some seas and not tender choking. Taste was good and filled.
Dessert ice cream with warm cherries. Yeah.
All in all, a friendly place to sit down for a drink and snack.

Bad and way too expensive

What a travesty, no hospitality people at all, 7.50 euros for a bad wine,
Really no attention to customers... drunk people at the bar playing thank you games. Smoking behaviour staff in the kitchen...
Don't go...

Not recommended

Food good but hygiene
Plate very dirty, felt like sandpaper.
Shown to the waitress with the request to show this to Mr Stoffel now. 2x asked-I haven't had time (?) The waitress did not show any disgusting interest, but she was really interested. In one corner all the pictures hung askew, the festers also needed a wash.
Made everything a dingy impression and is not recommended

Customer unfriendly in dated hotel

The employees of this hotel are completely focused on the restaurant. The guests of the hotel are left to fend for themselves. This was already apparent on arrival. The key was handed over but no information was shared about eg breakfast times, wifi codes etc. The rooms are clean but very dated. Chairs are worn, mattresses are very soft and the shower head cannot be adjusted. The first evening it was reported that there is always a place for the hotel guests in the restaurant for dinner. However, reality is more intractable. The tables in the restaurant are reserved for external guests without regard to the hotel guests. As a result, we could no longer dine in this restaurant in the evening. We had to find another eatery nearby. The first night we were able to eat in this restaurant. The quality of the meals is fine the hospitality leaves something to be desired. Everything is aimed at achieving as much turnover as possible. Breakfast is sober and the same every day. The products are put out at 07:00 and no longer replenished, even if a product is finished and guests are still waiting for breakfast. The bill for the overnight stays had to be paid suddenly the night before departure. Also, the bill did not match the pre-agreed costs. This resulted in a nasty discussion. In short, we have unfortunately suffered a negative experience at this hotel.
