Χαιρόμαστε ιδιαίτερα που νιώθεις τη φιλική και ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα του χώρου μας, με ανθρώπους που προσφέρουν πραγματική φιλοξενία και σε κάνουν να αισθάνεσαι σαν στο σπίτι σου. Είναι μεγάλη μας χαρά που το αναγνωρίζεις αυτό, μαζί με την προσοχή που δίνουμε στα δωμάτια και στη συνολική εμπειρία διαμονής.

Low value for money
Not a terrible place but do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed our Greek breakfast and swimming pool.
For the benefit of future readers, we would like to clarify that your reservation was not used for an overnight stay. While you visited the hotel and enjoyed some of our facilities, comments regarding the rooms, comfort, and overall stay cannot fully reflect the experience of guests who have actually stayed with us.
Vigla Hotel has always been presented as a hillside property in the traditional village of Tholaria, offering a peaceful setting surrounded by nature rather than a beachfront location. Many of Amorgos' hiking trails begin just steps from the hotel, making it an ideal base for guests seeking an authentic island experience.
Finally, the music you mentioned was due to the annual Agioi Anargyroi village festival, a traditional local celebration that is not representative of the quiet atmosphere our guests normally enjoy.

First class family run hotel on the beautiful island of Amorgos
The hotel is located in Tholaria, a beautiful hillside village with stunning views of surrounding villages and the port of Aegiali, with good connecting trails for walkers. It was a pleasure to return to Vigla and relax at the pool after our various hikes.
We have visited many Greek Islands, Amorgos and Vigla Hotel take top place as our favourite destination and place to stay.
Thank you to the family for a memorable stay, especially Kalliopi (Popi) and Despina.

Excellent family stay in Amorgos – highly recommended!
From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and always willing to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm and relaxed, making it very easy to settle in and enjoy the island.
The rooms were comfortable and very clean, the facilities were well maintained, and the pool area was a particular favourite with the children. We also really enjoyed the breakfast and the overall quality of the food.
The location in Tholaria is beautiful, with a wonderful authentic Cycladic atmosphere and fantastic views. It is a great base for exploring Amorgos while still offering a peaceful place to relax at the end of the day.
What really makes Vigla special, however, is the hospitality of the people. You feel that the team genuinely cares about their guests and wants them to have the best possible experience.
We all left with great memories and would definitely choose Vigla Hotel again on our next visit to Amorgos. Highly recommended, especially for families!
