funky bar

we didnt stay but the coffee shop and bar downstairs is a fab spot.great cocktails and coffee with funky sounds. located in old town is a great spot to relax ater walki g around the shops and general area. priced very reasonably as well. worth it.

DO NOT STAY HERE

The hotel’s location was very convenient and close to everything I needed, while the room itself was spacious, which was great.
Although, there were way too many negatives which unfortunately ruined my stay. During check-in, no identification, booking confirmation, or security questions were requested, and I was simply handed a room key with almost no communication, which immediately raised safety concerns. The room was not soundproof, I had no hot water for half of my stay, the WiFi did not reach my room, and the advertised “rainfall” shower was not functioning properly. There was also a continuous leak beneath the toilet drain, a faulty shower dial, a blocked shower drain, damaged blinds, and a safety deposit box too small to store larger devices such as an iPad. When I reported these issues, staff stated there was nothing they could do. In addition, the hair dryer provided in the room was unsafe as it began emitting flames, sparks, and smoke while in use, causing the hotel’s electricity to blow. Despite the extremely loud bang this caused and me screaming, nobody came to check on me afterwards. I was also not provided with the advertised iron, slippers, or electric kettle. Considering the amount I paid, the majority of the advertised facilities were either unavailable or not functioning correctly.

Can't comment on the property but the owner's conduct was a bit "off"!

I had to cancel our reservation due to a General strike in Greece which prevented us from getting to Crete. Although the owner was entitled not to give us any money back under the terms of the booking, we did ask for a partial refund as it was quite a lot of money to lose. Unusually, in our experience over 20 years of living in Greece, this was declined and the owner even put the phone down on me. As it was the low season when he was unlikely, anyway to be fully booked, and the cancellation was not our fault, I would have thought that it was reasonable, as hotels tend to do in Greece, to provide at least a partial refund. So he kept all our money for giving nothing in return.

Rating for the well-located bar where we took an ugly mojito , the worst I know! A ready-made drink, I guess and at 10 €, in drinkable , it ruined my early evening. Welcome, but good!!! Nothing more to say, we found another bar that knows their work well
