An Absolute Hidden Gem

The only way to describe this hotel is fantastic. It’s a real hidden gem in Ithaca. We stayed for 3 nights in Sept ‘26 and have already planned to come back.
The location is excellent. Set back from the seaside road, it is barely a 5 mins walk into the main square.
The room and facilities are great. It’s not a massive hotel so each aspect is well thought through and tailored to the guest experience.
But the best part is the service. Absolutely top notch. Special thanks to Katalina, Panos and the team for making us feel so welcome.
I highly recommend staying at Perantzada 1811, but in the nicest way I hope you don’t so it’s not full when we want to go back !

Beautiful views, even better people, and memories we'll cherish forever.

Perantzada was the centerpiece of my time on Ithaca. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with bright blue walls, flowers everywhere, breathtaking views over the harbor, and the perfect location—just a short walk into town while still feeling peaceful, quiet, and tucked away. Our room and balcony were spectacular for relaxing or watching the sunset with a spritz. Most afternoons were spent lounging by the beautiful pool (with Paloma, the sweetest poolside snuggle kitty, making every day even better). Every space was beautifully maintained, and the level of hospitality made the stay feel like an incredible value.
What truly makes Perantzada so special, though, is the people. Katarina, Aris, Panos, and the entire team welcomed my girlfriends and me with such genuine warmth that we immediately felt comfortable, safe, and like part of the community. We genuinely didn't want to say goodbye when it was time to leave.
One of my favorite moments was meeting guests who have been returning every year for nearly 30 years. After spending time here, I completely understand why.

Amazing location and staff. Breakfast was excellent with great variety. Room with small balcony but there are rooms with larger balconies. Overall excellent stay.

Best hotel in Ithaca

We had a great stay at Perantzada Hotel. The location is perfect, with everything within easy walking distance, making it a really good base for exploring Ithaca.
What really made the stay stand out, though, was the staff. Caterina (sorry if I’ve spelt your name wrong) and the rest of the team were fantastic. They were really warm and welcoming, and always happy to help without being over the top. Their local tips were brilliant, and they gave us great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and things to do, which made the whole trip feel really easy and well looked after.
The hotel itself is lovely and well kept, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to switch off. We’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Ithaca.

A lovely boutique hotel. Quiet, colourful and filled with character. The staff were accommodating to our needs. The location is next to the port with great views.
