Super

Everything was stunning: modern hotel, impeccable cleanliness, very helpful staff, beautiful outdoor pool with loungers despite the small space; the only downside was not having a power outlet in the bathroom, but other than that, nothing more. Additionally, breakfast and meals were abundant, obviously intercontinental, but with a wide selection for breakfast between sweet and savory, and lunch and dinner were equally good. Excellent food. Excellent cleanliness in the dining area, and I really appreciated the urban and informal atmosphere in the restaurant. It is frequented by many young people, so a bit of noise can be heard at night. Additionally, excellent location in the center of the main street but close to the sea. I can't wait to go back there and I highly recommend it as a first experience; I loved it very much.

Rude staff almost assault us

When we arrived the security guard/receptionist checked us in. This same security decided to pull out a baton and threaten to hit us the next day shout at us to get out. When he realised his mistake he did not apologise just sat down going back to doing nothing. The day after that he threatened to call the police on us because we were talking on the road. Mind u the hotel is on the strip in between multiple bars. On our last day one of my friends overheard this security guard call our group the blacks. Other than the other rude receptionists there was one quite nice one who made the stay bearable.

Don't come here if you are British

The room was good apart from one of the beds having stains on it and blanket smelt of dampness. The hotel staff were rude. Clearly biased and are against people from the UK. We received a single noise complaint and made sure to keep the noise down after (which we had assumed music would be fine considering the hotel is on the strip). The nighttime receptionist/security threatened some other hotel guests with a Batton because they were making noise on the road (not hotel grounds). When we checked out we waited in reception. We asked if the AC could be switched on and the female reception one said there is no AC (we could see the AC?) then another group went to ask to switch the AC on and the male worker said okay- yet 3 hours passed and the AC still was not switched on leaving us all having heat stroke.

very disappointing

The room was fine, clean, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, everything else was a complete disaster.
The noisy guests constantly slammed doors, disturbing everyone at night when they came back drunk from the clubs.
The food was beyond disappointing. Even the vegetables were wilted, everything lacked flavor and presentation, and there was absolutely no variety. Every now and then, you could find their famous sauce, but that certainly didn’t make up for the poor quality.
I’m sorry to say this, but I would never come back here again.

Best stay in Malia

I came to Dionosis with my friend for 10 nights. I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Crete, it’s amazing and modern, extremely clean, breakfast and dinner is included it has a variety of delicious food options, the location of the hotel is fabulous it’s very convenient, our favourite thing about the the hotel is that it’s family owned the staff are the most genuine friendly people, they are so kind and always greet and welcome guests with a smile, from the minute we arrived we already felt at home, when we checked out Christina and Irene helped us they were amazing! So helpful,
We visit Malia often so we will definitely be booking this hotel next time as we had the best experience ever. Thankyou to the team at Dionosis for making our holiday so special.
