Amazing family chilled holiday
Overall Verdict
MarBella Elix is a truly exceptional hotel, and we had the most wonderful, relaxed family holiday here. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and breathtaking views, this is it. Having previously stayed at Ikos and Sani, we were searching for something with a similar exclusive, all inclusive feel at a more accessible price point, and this exceeded our expectations. In fact, we actually preferred the peacefulness, the stunning location, and the beaches here. We would absolutely love to return!
Beaches & Water Sports
Hotel Beach: Absolutely beautiful with calm, clear water that is ideal for snorkeling around the rocks to see plenty of fish. It can get a little wavy in the late afternoon, which the kids had a lot of fun with. There is a lifeguard on duty, and sunbeds and towels are always readily available and set up for you.
Accessibility: To get to the beach, you take a funicular lift followed by about 20 steps down to the sea (otherwise, it is around 250 steps). Because the hotel is built into the cliffside, it would be challenging for wheelchairs or buggies, but we really enjoyed the walk down as it gave us a chance to take in the views and spot local wildlife.
Nearby Cove: Located just a two minute drive away using the hotel's driver service. It was our favourite spot for a morning swim, exceptionally calm with an abundance of fish. You can hire sunbeds with drinks service or simply set up on your own towels.
Boat Hire: We hired a boat for the day directly from the water sports centre on the beach for €200 to explore the Blue Lagoon and the beaches around the Syvota islands. The team gave us a great safety briefing and clear advice on where to navigate.
Dining & Entertainment
Buffet Restaurant: We ate here as it was the easiest option with children. The food had a large, varied selection that was freshly cooked and frequently replenished. The restaurant staff worked tirelessly and were extremely friendly. There was occasionally a short queue to get in around 9:45 AM.
Evening Atmosphere: From 9:00 PM onwards, there was light, relaxed music entertainment, which kept the evenings very chilled.
Room & Hotel Grounds
Room: Cleaned to a high standard every day and water was consistently topped up. A pillow menu with numerous choices was a lovely touch.
Surrounding Nature: The setting is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and offering spectacular sunset views over Corfu every evening. The location is about a 1.5 hour scenic drive from the airport through the mountains.
Kids & Wildlife: The kids loved spotting small lizards and even a praying mantis around the grounds. While we did not use the kids' club, it looked fairly basic, though the staff appeared very kind and engaging.
Areas for Improvement
Front Desk: Service here could certainly be improved. We had to ask multiple times for simple requests to be dealt with, and the team came across as quite indifferent. They would definitely benefit from further training on the customer service standards expected of a five star hotel (though the manager was noticeably more proactive).
Pool & Beach Service: Unlike Ikos, staff do not continuously offer drinks or snacks around the pool and beach area; you have to actively ask or order. Beach staff were generally very helpful, though pool staff were slightly less attentive.
Pool Hours: The pool closes at 6:00 PM. While not a major issue, it would be lovely if it stayed open an hour longer to enjoy the late afternoon sun.

Cracking stay at Elix!
A wonderful 10-day stay! Everything about this hotel and its staff was excellent. We travelled with our two children, aged 7 and 10, hoping for a relaxing holiday where we could spend quality time together as a family—and it exceeded all our expectations. Thank you to the entire team at Elix!

Stayed at Elix Mar-Bella for our honeymoon and it was honestly exceptional. The variety in food was great, the location is absolutely outrageous (honestly the best views we’ve seen) and the staff are so attentive and bring so much personality to the place. The atmosphere is very chilled and the rooms / all-round amenities are of the highest quality. We got a room with a swim up and a sea view and it was the nicest hotel room we’ve stayed in - would highly recommend paying the extra money for this as it’s a nice private break away from the main pool. The connecting beach was immaculate and super chilled - it never felt too busy even when full. Would recommend also paying the extra for going all-inclusive because it’s the kind of resort you won’t want to leave for the week but is also a little far away from everything if you intend on nipping out to supermarkets etc (Parga and Perdika).
Special shout out to Amber, Spyridoula and Naser who are the heart of soul of the place - they all spent so much time making sure our stay was special. Also, special mention to Giannis who was so accommodating regarding my wife’s gluten free requirements during meal times.

Outstanding Hotel
We loved our 10 days stay at Elix absolutely spotless, beautiful hotel and a very warm welcome on arrival. all the staff were amazing, so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Georgia and Maria in the pearl restaurant stood out for us. Maria served us many of times for breakfast in the Indego restaurant and Georgia looked after us in the roof top bar. Also the staff in Rubys bar were also very friendly. Compliments to all the chefs because the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the beach BBQ, very well planned the food, service and setting was perfect. The only negative was the mini bar in our room it says it's filled up once a week. We were there 10 days and if we wanted it refilled they're would be an extra charge. I think if you're all inclusive the mini bar should be topped up daily. That's my only negative everything else was spot on. Would highly recommend Mrs Lee

“Where Luxury Meets Nature”
For a relaxing seaside holiday, I would absolutely recommend this hotel as is the third year visiting it. The combination of private-feeling beach + spectacular elevated views + excellent service is what makes Elix specia.The location is absolutely stunning. The resort is set on a green hillside overlooking the Ionian Sea, with direct access to beautiful Karavostasi Beach. It feels peaceful, private and surrounded by nature.Perfect for switching off. The beach, greenery, pools, spa and peaceful surroundings create a very relaxing atmosphere. It is family-friendly and completely quiet.
