These apartments are located a short walk from the shopping street and just a few meters from the main road that crosses the island and links to all the main beaches. Nearby guests can find different markets, bars and restaurants offering local fresh fish. This is the ideal starting point for those who want to enjoy the beach and the sea but do not wish to have the constraint of moving too in the evening; a perfect location for those guests who wish to experience the island during the day and during the night and do not want to spend their vacation in a hotel away from the center.

Aretousa Skiathos

A great little hotel, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The room was a good size and cleaned daily. This hotel is located just a short walk from the beach, from the town centre bars and restaurants and from the bus stop. A great base for a holiday, would definitely return.

The chamber of horrors

Let me start by saying that we are not at all demanding people, on the contrary, I have rarely given a star in the places in the world where we have been but here......reading the reviews of others I noticed that, unlike us, the people found themselves well, perhaps because we only stayed one night but this does not take away my negative note on this structure.
Abandoned room, bathroom full of rust everywhere, old furniture ruined by the water from the shower.....view from the boat on a wall that ended in the garden outside......the air conditioning fins didn't work and to cool the The air took a long time....the location was the only positive thing, close to the pedestrian center in a side street at the end of the street, large and simple room, breakfast was nothing special, the dishes were washed badly... ...another positive note about the well-equipped facility for disabled people, I'm sorry but we didn't like it at all....

Reassessed my opinion

This was my second visit, the first being in 2020 (covid year) Overall a much better atmosphere. The room was spacious, with a roomy modern bathroom (although typically Greek with a dodgy fitting doors!) The bed was very comfortable as was the pillows. The room was cleaned every day, getting clean towels, every other day or two would have been fine for us.
A pleasant buffet breakfast in either an airy breakfast room (despite being underground!) or a lovely enclosed garden.
The receptionist, Koni was lovely, very helpful and friendly as was Lenia.
The Hotel is situated in an ideal location,just off the top of Papadiamantis St. and a couple of minutes walk to bus stop 3.

Excellent Town Hotel

It is a very nice hotel which is very clean. The aircon especially is superb as they are Brand new. The beds are firm and some of the best we have slept on in Greece. The hotel is easy walking distance from the Port and also a very flat walk which is great if you have any mobility issues. Very friendly staff and a highly recommended hotel

Wonderful stay in Skiathos

We stayed at Aretousa for a week and everything was really nice. Rooms are perfect: big, very clean and also with a balcony. We appreciated the air-conditioning and the fridge a lot. The position is central, about 5 minutes on foot from Skiathos center and Megali Ammos beach, and not even 10 minutes from the port.
The staff was kind and attentive; moreover, since our return flight was in the morning, the boss drove us to the airport, and we were so grateful.
The only thing I would suggest would be just to improve breakfast. By the way, all things considered the hotel has an excellent price/quality ratio; definitely recommended.
