Christakis Studios
Location A great hotel to have a nice rest before long walks around the city. Hotel «Christakis Studios» is located in Troulos. This hotel is located in the city center. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Troulos Beach, Small Troulous Beach and Fulvia’s Beach.At the hotel Spend an evening in a nice atmosphere of the bar. Taste the local cuisine and have a rest in the restaurant. In the shared kitchen, you can cook anything you want. Free Wi-Fi on the territory will help you to stay on-line. Specially for tourists who travel by car, there’s a parking zone. Also, the following services are available for guests at the hotel: a massage room, a sauna, a solarium, a spa center and a hamam. Good Location, Clean Apartments!
Only 5 minutes from bus stop 18 to take you into skiathos town. Only 3 euro and took about 15 minutes. We went to skiathos town most nights and troulos itself didn't have many restaurants. No food is served after 1pm which was fine for us as we had gyros on the beach every lunch time. Supermarket next door was good but expensive. We took the bus to stop 3 and used the supermarket there whilst we was in town.
Only thing is there could be a sign to say about check in at the bar as we had no idea where to check in when we arrived.
Overall good stay, central location to bus stops and beach. Good base

Great Stay - Felt Very Welcomed!
The studios are up a fairly steep hill, so if you’ve got mobility issues, it’s worth bearing in mind (this is mentioned when booking). Our rooms were quite basic but spacious and had everything we needed — a hob, grill, and fridge freezer, which were perfect for simple meals. The air con worked well, though it was a bit noisy, but that seems standard.
Our room was cleaned to a spotless condition every single day by the lovely cleaner, who always made an effort to chat with us — we didn’t catch her name, but she was brilliant. She even dragged two of our suitcases down the hill on the day we left - we were gobsmacked how fast she went with them!!!
The pool area was great — cleaned daily, with loads of sunbeds available throughout the day. No need to get up at 6 am to claim one! Food was served from 9 am to 1 pm, and we ate lunch by the pool every day. There was a good mix of options, prices were reasonable, and the toasties were genuinely amazing. For our family of three, lunch with drinks came to around 30–40 euros, which felt reasonable.
Marina and Margaret worked so hard around the pool and always made time to chat, which made us feel really welcome. Chris was very friendly too — he even reminded my dad daily about the Derby match coming up!!
Evenings had a relaxed but lively atmosphere, especially when football or other sports were on in the bar, but this is expected with it being a sports bar. Bingo night was great fun — we managed to win 60 euros, so definitely worth joining in! One night, they showed Mamma Mia on a big outdoor screen, which was brilliant. It did start raining halfway through, but they had it playing inside too, and the atmosphere didn’t change — we were still dancing and singing along all night. Definitely worth getting involved.
We went to Skiathos Town a couple of times, and the bus stop (number 18) is just a 5–10 minute walk from the studios. It’s only 3 euros each way. If you need any info, the staff are super helpful and happy to chat.
We also did the Mamma Mia Cruise Trip with TUI, which was advertised on the board in the bar — hands down the best thing we did. The 205 steps to the chapel were a challenge, but absolutely worth it.
The bar staff at night were lovely, just like every member of the team. We’d definitely recommend Christakis Studios — and don’t miss the strawberry daiquiris and iced coffee! We are hoping to return to Skiathos next year, so we will definitely pop by!
