Fantastic overnight in Symi

Just left the Asimi Residence and wished we had booked another night, or couple of nights!! On arrival we realised we had booked the wrong day on the wrong week, however it wasn’t an issue and thankfully there was a room available for the night we were staying. Mario was extremely caring and sorted everything without an issue. The rooms are beautiful decorated, it was a pleasure to stay, small kitchenette with kettle and dishes for simple non cooking meals and with everything you need, toiletries provided, water and wine in fridge for your arrival and spotlessly clean. There’s an on site Taverna serving pizza etc and drinks. Breakfast was continental, but with everything you need and it was lovely sitting in the terrace in the morning.
Mario couldn’t do enough for you and made our stay perfect, the next morning (I didn’t catch the man’s name) but he was very kind and arranged our departure. The room had a lovely balcony with sea view, it was a delight to sit and watch the yachts coming in for the night.
There’s a couple of mini markets, cafe, and restaurants to enjoy while looking out over the water.
Very peaceful, idillic, without the buzz of Symi Village, there’s a shuttle bus to take you too and from the Port when you arrive and depart.
Very beautiful accommodation, would highly recommend

Rude staff

We enjoyed our stay at Asymi Residences overall, but unfortunately our checkout experience left a very negative impression.
The accommodation has a self-service drinks fridge in the kitchen. As there was never anyone available to serve drinks, we asked at reception whether we could help ourselves, and we were told that we could, provided we recorded what we took so it could be added to our bill.
At checkout, we asked to review the drinks charged to us and noticed there was an additional bottle of wine on the bill that we had not consumed. When we politely queried this, the owner, Dinos, responded in a very rude and confrontational manner. Rather than allowing us to explain, he repeatedly spoke over us and implied that we had acted improperly by taking drinks from the fridge—even though we had followed the instructions given to us by the reception staff.
After we reiterated that we had only consumed one bottle of wine, the incorrect charge was eventually removed. However, what should have been a simple billing correction became an unnecessarily unpleasant and uncomfortable interaction.
Mistakes on bills can happen, and we would have completely understood that. What was disappointing was the way we were spoken to and treated. Respectful customer service, particularly when resolving a genuine query, is important. We left feeling that our concerns were dismissed rather than listened to, which unfortunately overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable stay.

We had such a lovely stay at Asymi residences. The staff were a delight, our spacious room was kept spotless throughout our stay, the breakfast was basic but plentiful. Looking forward to staying again.
Pedi is a great location. Much quieter than the harbour area.

Beautiful accommodation in Pedi

Lovely clean and well managed accommodation a two minute walk from Pedi. Lovely breakfast and bar open in the day/evening where you can sit out on the balcony - super host and incredible staff here who really looked after us during the stay - would definately stay here again
