Stunning views!

Stunning views! Comfortable and friendly. Rooms chic (although no full length mirror or tea/coffe making facilities). Comfy bed and and pillows. Room shower. Fabulous breakfast.

After 20 years still as satisfied with this hotel. Nice room, nice breakfast, good service. Order and cleanliness 10/10. What more could one wish for on holiday.

Breathtaking views, neat modern rooms, friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.
The hotel is near Lemonaki beach and Kokkari village a 15-minute walk away.

Good but not perfect

Good hotel but not perfect. We had heard that this is the best hotel in Kokkari, so our expectations were high.
Reception and lobby is very atmospheric and Maria is a super hostess.
Rooms are renovated and very nice styling. Very small, though. 2 suitcases you can't open there. Bathroom nice but when you shower water runs into the room. Lovely beds.
Unfortunately no coffee tea facilities.
Breakfast is nice on terrace overlooking the bay. Little variety though.
Large pool but not cozy and many cots are broken. And opening hours swimming pool 1000-1830?? We don't understand that. 1000 hours is very late and 1830 too early to close because just then it is still delicious. Very unfortunate.
Everywhere in hotel signs and signs what is not allowed. Doesn't look very welcoming.
You have to go up a steep narrow road to get there. Not useful when oncoming traffic arrives. Two parking spaces at hotel but limited number of spaces.

Peace with a view of the Gulf of Kokkari

PREMISE: after the age of 50, for beach holidays, we decided to always opt for hotels outside the chaos with the aim of turning and exploring the surrounding areas. So a good hotel with adequate services in bed & breakfast formula. In Samos, Kalidon Panorama Hotel is all that. Attention: there is also the Kalidon Hotel which is in Kokkari village while the Panorama, as the name suggests, offers a splendid view of the Gulf of Kokkari and is perfect as a base for visiting the island considering that the farthest points on the west coast require an hour's drive (about 45 km). Rooms not great me totally functional, comfortable bed, terrace and excellent bathroom with supershower. In the morning hearty breakfast and for all tastes to be consumed on the terrace above the pool and terrific views of the gulf. Internal parking because of course you need the car to visit the island. Lemonakia the nearest beach and after the village of Avlakia the beautiful and well managed beach of Tsabou Beach. In Kokkari if you want to treat yourself in a way the ALFA restaurant will crown your holiday day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED a week from 15 to 22 July room and breakfast 135 euros per day per couple
