Rafalias Mansion is a true gem

Rafalias Mansion is a true gem, and we had absolutely wonderful stay in this exceptional historic building. The garden is stunning, with lemon and orange trees, scent of jasmine and honeysuckle just divine.
Andreas is a great host, welcoming and kind, who makes you feel like home. He gave us a tour of the beautiful rooms with frescos on the first floor of the mansion.
We felt really looked after by Andreas, the fabulous host with the most.
Thanks a lot Andreas. Mansion is a short walk from the harbour. Cleanliness 10. A bottle water, coffee capsules, honey, jams,…snacks stocked every day. Room cleaned daily. A supermarket short distance. You can’t wish for more.

Home away from home on beautiful Hydra

This place was heaven. Home away from home! Stunning garden, room with attention to every little detail and lovingly curated by the owner Andreas Rafalias, who was so charming that it felt rather like staying at an old friend’s beautiful huge house rather than a hotel apartment. Excellent gym, amenities and a truly beautiful house. Cannot recommend Rafalias mansion enough!

Perfect stay !

Perfect Greek living experience!
The best property to stay at in all of Greece, a hidden gem! Nothing can top my stay at this beautiful location! Very spacious, relaxing, totally equipped for all your needs, truly an above and beyond stay, I must come back next year!

Special place. 100% recommended

From the initial booking to a late checkout, Andreas was the perfect host. The rooms are perfectly curated and the beautiful garden with its comfortable chairs and tables was welcoming and cooling after walking Hyrda during the day. Even though there were several guests taking in the bouquet of the lemon and orange trees, there are more than enough nooks to enjoy privately (which we did with some wine and cheese). Easy walking everywhere. Restaurant and other recommendations were spot on. A memorable experience that photos won't do justice to but we took so many anyway!).
