Beware. Fraud guys.

This guy is a fraud and never trust this hotel. I asked for a refund on cancellation of my stay but he stopped replying. Beware.

Beware of The Janaki Hotel: A Shady Business Run by Unethical and Fraudulent People

Beware and stay away from this hotel. It is run by unethical people who are primarily interested in extracting money from customers. I searched for two rooms on Booking.com for 3 adults and 2 kids. Booking.com suggested booking two rooms to accommodate 5 guests, so I proceeded with the booking and added one guest’s name to each room, as this was required. After receiving confirmation from Booking.com, I received an email from the hotel stating that, due to a technical glitch, I had booked the hotel at the wrong rate and they were unable to accommodate us. This seemed suspicious.After escalating the issue to Booking.com, the hotel changed their stance and sent a follow-up email stating that because only two adults’ names were provided for the two double rooms, they would charge an additional 500 per person (including kids) per night, which totals 1500 per night. This seems highly unethical and possibly fraudulent.Booking.com showed me the price based on 5 guests, not 2, and even suggested booking two rooms for 5 people (3 adults and 2 kids), as it is not possible for 5 guests to stay in one room. The reason I added only two adults’ names was because Booking.com only requires the primary guest names per room, and there is no mandatory condition to include all guests’ details.The owner or manager of this hotel seems to be driven solely by profit. Stay away from this property. There are other similar reviews about this hotel that raise concerns as well.
