Room service

Abhiram was very courteous and caring .
The manner of talking to guests which is very important was very well addressed by him so I insisted to send him whenever I placed an order.

GREAT & MEMORABLE STAY

Copper Folia is a four-star luxury hotel situated on the Thondayad bypass road, Nellikode in Calicut.
It is about 7 Km from the Calicut Railway station & around 25 KM from the Calicut airport.
It is easily one of the best hotels near Calicut airport.
It is surrounded by landmarks such as government medical college, IT parks, Hillite Mall etc
The hotel is around ten years old.
However, it is maintained so meticulously that anybody will consider it as new hotel.
The reception area was beautiful and spacious.
The reception staff deserve applause for their hospitality towards guests.
Our room was very spacious neat and clean.
The bath area deserves appreciation for cleanliness and facilities.
the linen, tea/coffee material, study table, sofa sets etc in the room were apt and comfortable.
The view from the room was great.
There are two restaurants (Hues Coffee shop & AZURE restaurant) and one bar (Rocks Lunge bar) in this hotel.
The food served in the AZURE restaurant was of good quality & taste.
The restaurant staff were very cooperative.
Their hospitality is worth mentioning.
Apart from these there is a Fitness Centre, a Swimming pool, a board room (ROOTS) and a banquet (COPPERAGE) in this hotel.
All are appreciable.
The parking facility in this hotel is superb.
Our stay here was great, enjoyable and memorable.
Thanks to the management of the hotel for making our stay comfortable.

By the side of the highway

Stayed overnight during a family trip.
Pros: Right beside the highway, well maintained rooms and toilets. Friendly and helpful staff. Has a bar and swimming pool.
The breakfast buffet was good, but can be improved.Decently priced rooms.
Cons: Bit far from city.

Pathetic location on Bypass, Dusty and Small Rooms

We stayed for 4 days in December 2024, this hotel was the only bad part of the Kozhikode trip. Location is on the Bypass, so you have to depend on Hotel to get you an Auto if you are not travelling with your vehicle. On the first day, we ended up on the bypass road trying to stop an Auto rickshaw because hotel said they are not able to get an Auto. You have to inform an hour or two before. That restricts your accessibility.
The rooms are new but the Delux rooms are small and cramped and they are Dusty (pics attached). Unusual for a 4 star hotel. The hotel staff looked irritated when I mentioned this at checkout politely.
To add to it, I did a mistake of burning a synthetic bed runner with iron box accidently. Got charged additional Rs 1100! (which I paid), just wanted to get out of there). Late checkout is not welcome. There are plenty other options in Kozhikode central, I regret having booked this one.

Professional Staff, Well Maintained Hotel

Neat and well maintained hotel. Close to the city on the bipass/highway, best part they offer 24hour check in check out. Room is spacious with premium amenities. Jilsi at the reception was very helpful. Had good options for breakfast. Getting a transportation is a big challenge as the hotel is on the highway. Don't rely on Uber, they will ask for extra money. If you take an auto from the city they will charge you twice the meter.
