Great budget for the price..

What works - the location is great... in the heart of the city.. the price is affordable.. the food was decent.. the staff were polite and helpful.. the rooms and linen were OK..
What does not work - If you are looking for a upmarket hotel then this is not it.. this is more for the budget traveler who does not mind some compromises..

Disappointing Stay at Menino Regency – Not Worth the Price

Our experience at Menino Regency in Fontainhas, Panaji, was extremely disappointing. We booked a non-AC room, but despite the high price, the room was stuffy, dirty, and felt neglected. The hotel building is old and poorly maintained, and the bathroom was especially unclean, which made our stay uncomfortable. Additionally, there’s no dedicated parking – we had to find space on the road, which was inconvenient and stressful.
Overall, this stay did not meet basic expectations, and we would not recommend it, especially given the cost. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences we've had, and I wish we could give it 0 stars.

Safety is not priority for guest.

Menino residency is very poor service by hotel staff and they have not atticates receptionist is rudely taking with the guest and guest safety is not priority because we have observed there are smoke detectors are not working in the room and emergency exit door is blocked by some unwanted stuff. If there is any emergency how they rescue the guest. I recommend to hotel manager if you alloted the room to guest please check safety first.

DO NOT VISIT

My experience here is not good. The rooms are old and rustic it doesn’t matches what they’re showing on MMT.
The curtains , bed sheets and the blankets are old and smelly.
The shower doesn’t work properly. The tv is from the 1800’s and doesn’t work. There’s no point in keeping the tv inside the room if it’s not working . There’s an old flask kept on the table which seems to be older than this hotel . There’s only one towel kept for double occupancy room. The mattress is too hard to sleep and the best thing is we are given a twin bed room where the bed is not even joined properly. This place is horrible and not worthy of 500/- per night. Considering the property it should be much more well maintained than what the actual scenario is. The ac remote also doesn’t work. We just had to spend one night and it was way too pathetic.

Nice location with an average stay.

The location of the hotel is good whereas when it comes to the stay, it is not much happening and attractive place to stay. If you are a nature lover then you must prefer a hotel with a comfortable stay with basic amenities. The sheets were not clean and the bed too was a bit rough.
