Neer Ganga Resort, escape the city heat and hustle
Neer Ganga Resort is a hidden gem for those looking to visit Rishikesh but same time want to avoid the hustle of the city. It is located in a village, Kyarki
The elevation and isolation seem to offer a much more peaceful perspective of the Ganges, especially with the natural cooling effect of being higher up in the hills.
The logistical advice is particularly helpful. Navigating the narrow, broken roads near the Neer waterfall can be a headache, even for experienced drivers, so opting for the resort’s local driver sounds like the most stress-free way to reach
Choosing to stay put for the sunset rather than rushing down for the evening Aarti is a solid recommendation. Watching the light change over the rapids from a quiet hilltop often feels more spiritual than being in a crowded ghat.

Lovely and comfortable stay
We visited recently on 30 Mar'26 & booked mountain view cottage. The room was spacious, neat & clean.The washroom was little conjusted. Service was very fast & Mr. Dutt was very helpful & responsive. The resort is good for peace lovers as near by only 2 Maggi points were there, followed by Neer Jharna. Food menu in buffet was good. Food was tasty & mildy spiced. Loved their Chinese food incl. Soup & not to miss their aloo stuffed bread pakora's. They have board games, badminton & cricket kit for children. Pool was neat & clean. Overall we loved to stay there & enjoyed.

Privacy encroachment
We had a terrible experience of staying at Neer Ganga, it makes the trip unforgettable. The staff encroached the privacy by opening the door, without knocking & stood there for 10-15secs and didn't move back unless asked. Never visiting again, untrained & hazardous staff, beware of anyone visiting with family & married couples.We called out to resort manager he didn't offer anything besides simple apology.

Extremely unprofessional.pathetic sales department
Extremely unprofessional .. pathetic sales department..never plan to book..
Inquired about three rooms at the resort, excited for a getaway, Initially, everything seemed perfect. The resort confirmed room availability and shared the prices. However, out of the blue, we were informed that all rooms were sold out. They promised to update us as soon as rooms became available again, but this update never came.When we followed up the next day, we were told once more that no rooms were available. This lack of communication and failure to keep us informed not only spoiled our excitement but also left us in a difficult situation, scrambling to find another pet-friendly resort on short notice.
This experience reflects a significant level of unprofessionalism and poor customer service.It caused us considerable inconvenience and disappointment.I am sharing this to warn others about the potential for such issues with this resort. Travelers, be cautious if you decide to book with them

Nice family time...worth visiting.
We visited in March 2024. The resort offers many Instagrammable views, Ganga view, decent swimming pool and great food taste. Lots of activities and games, private party area, bon-fire, meditation and spa. We enjoyed our stay.
The only drawback we found was nobody dedicatedly available at reception, sometime the call went unanswered. The service was slow on the first day but after that it was picked up. The location of the resort is bit remote you have to travel 4 kms on hills from the main road and with Neer Garh waterfall mid way the road becomes very narrow with cars parked on one side.
However it is worth visiting the resort.
