Birthday celebration at the Dynasty Banquet Hall at Ashoka Inn Thrissur
Ashoka Inn has always been our go-to destination for events, and they delivered once again. We recently hosted our son's birthday in the Dynasty Banquet Hall with catering provided in-house.
It was a flawless experience from start to finish. Mrs. Joshlin was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the menu selection and planning. The execution on the day was commendable—the kitchen staff and coordinators ensured tables were always available, and the service team was prompt in clearing plates and keeping the venue spotless. Truly recommended for any celebration!

Had a pleasant stay.
Facilities provided in the room was very scientifically done. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with varieties too.

Very Average.
Stayed at Ashoka Inn, Thrissur, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The hotel feels outdated, and while walking on the floor, it felt shaky, which was quite unsettling. The bed was uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.
The restaurant service was terrible—waited 40 minutes for food, only to receive the wrong order because the staff forgot to place it in the first place. However, the breakfast buffet was decent, probably because it was self-service.
On the positive side, the hotel has ample parking and is in the city center, which is convenient. But if you’re visiting on a weekend with events happening, avoid staying on the 4th floor—the noise levels were unbearable.

Very comfortable stay, and an excellent restaurant
We stayed at the Ashoka Inn in Thrissur for three nights leading up to Christmas Eve. We had a very comfortable stay in a well-appointed room. The staff at reception (including the doorman) were pleasant, courteous and helpful.
We really enjoyed the Emperor restaurant located on the first floor of the hotel. We had a very enjoyable dinner on two nights there. The food was well-prepared and delicious with a wide choice on the menu. The buffet breakfast (which we had on three mornings) was also very good with multiple choices, and a live counter for freshly made omelettes and various dosas/appams. The restaurant staff including the manager Mr Prajoth (not sure if I have spelt that right!) were polite, helpful and friendly.
Overall we had a good time there and would certainly stay there again with pleasure.

Review after staying at Hotel Ashoka Inn Thrissur
I stayed with my family at Ashoka In Thrissur from 24th-28th March 2022.
- Reached the hotel around 1145 pm and we were welcomed by mosquitoes everywhere from the lobby to the room and we slept with mosquitoes in the room. We requested the Good night mosquito repentant and end up placing in the room and in the bathroom.
- Before reaching we and called and confirmed whether we have hair dryer, reception said yes, but they did not check whether it is working. when we want to use it was not working, requested to repair.
- Requested for box tissues and gave us the tissues used in their restaurant first and after repeated requests they provided one box.
- Bath tub dirty and wash basin got cracks
- Not worthy to pay RS3500+ per night, worth only Rs500 per night
- No buffet breakfast as advertised, need order like normal restaurant, breakfast is not buffet, instead we need to order and so we ended up eating outside.
- Switches and plugs are loose, safety concerns
- Attached a few pictures as well
- Rooms and furniture in the room looks very old and are not clean,
- Towels provided are many years old and turned yellow
- Internet connection very slow in the room and after every 5 minutes cut off
- Un acceptable and poor hygiene and service
- Can say this is only a single star hotel
- Note recommended for international travelers
