Service, Room, Location, Hygiene

Me and wife wanted a Boutique hotel stay and not expensive too. This fit the bill to all our needs. We booked and checked in. Check in was fast and asked for Balcony room and it was available and they gave it to us. The room was cleanly, and tidy and cosy. Bathroom was hygienic and was clean. Location is awesome, no noise and its in a residential area and Assi Ghat is 500 mtrs from the hotel. Stayed here for 2 days, just yesterday checked out. While checking out I had a outstanding bill of Rs 108 for three water bottle by mistake I paid 1806 through GPay and the cab to the airport was waiting outside. They took our account information and Gpay number and told us to travel safely and not to think about the overpaid refund. We went back to Bengaluru and the next day it was refunded back to us. Amazing service, room and location. Thank you.

Pathetic

Very bad hotel, no cleanliness in washroom. Bare minimum option in name of breakfast buffet. Does not even gives water.
Room has tiny insects and flies

Fraud hotel! Horrible and Frustrating Experience

Booked in advance through Agoda to avoid any last-minute hassle, but after a long, tiring journey, they denied check-in saying “unmarried couples not allowed." It was not mentioned anywhere.
They showed zero concern, no help, no refund, no apology. The staff and manager were rude, arrogant, and completely clueless about hospitality.
Hungry for money and utterly useless people who have no idea how to treat guests, it honestly felt like talking to a wall.
Unfair, humiliating, and exhausting experience.
If negative stars existed, this pathetic, money-hungry hotel would get them all.

A Memorable Stay in Varanasi – Thanks to the Amazing Staff!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel de Baugain Villa in Varanasi. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The location is excellent—close to key attractions yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay.
A special thanks to Mr. Yadav and Mr. Amit for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their professionalism and friendly attitude truly stood out.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varanasi. I will definitely return!

A little gem in Kashi

Found De Bougainville on MMT while looking for a stay on a quick solo trip to Kashi. looked nice over MMT, booked, didn't expect much as it was on a very short packed trip. However, surprisingly the property did its best to make me want to come back if I'm ever here again. The young man at the reception, Wasim messaged back refreshingly when i informed about my later check-in. The place is like a little boutique hotel you would expect to find in Goa or in Dehradun but not exactly in Varanasi. It has cozy rooms, some with a balcony as well. The staff is courteous and will provide RO purified water as many times as you need. I drank a lot of it owing to the humidity. any other property would have sold me 7 bottles of mineral water in lieu. This was quite the environment friendly approach of De Bougainville. It has an in-house breakfast and other meals can be ordered from their restaurant just across the street. The property is located on a very clean wide street, probably a residential area in walkable distance from Assi Ghat, where the main Arti happens. I was also shown the way by the staff and it was so nice. One could experience the little bylanes of Kashi and the comfort of a boutique hotel at the same time at De Bougainville. Highly recommended.
