Hotel Ananda Kashi Exceeded All My Expectations

My stay at Hotel Ananda Kashi was absolutley wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with everything you could need for a pleasant stay. The staff members were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful with all my requests and questions about exploring Varanasi. The location is convenient for visiting the ghats and other major attractions in the city. The breakfast offered good variety and the dining area had a nice atmosphere. What really made this hotel stand out was the attention to detail and the genuinely warm hospitality from everyone working there. I felt very welcomed from the moment I arrived until checkout. The value for money is more than excellent and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Varanasi. It's the very perfect choice for travelers who want comfort and great service in this amazing spiritual city.

Excellent

My Experience at Hotel Anand Kashi, Varanasi
During my visit to Kashi, I stayed at Hotel Anand Kashi with my family from June 13 to June 15, and my experience was excellent.
The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff members were extremely helpful, soft-spoken, courteous, and always ready to assist whenever needed, which made our stay even more pleasant.
The hotel also has an in-house restaurant called Saras, where we enjoyed delicious, hygienic, and well-prepared food. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience were excellent.
Overall, we had a wonderful and comfortable stay. If I visit Varanasi again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at Hotel Anand Kashi once more. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Kashi or Varanasi.

Mixed Experience: Good Amenities but Poor Service & Rigid Policies

I recently stayed at Hotel Ananda Kashi. While there were some positive aspects, several service-related issues significantly impacted the overall experience.
Reaching the hotel for location guidance was a struggle. I tried three different contact numbers, and none were answered initially. It took multiple attempts to finally get a response.
The rates for a 10-year-old child are quite steep—comparable to extra adult charges in most other hotels. Furthermore, the management showed zero flexibility regarding these charges.
Breakfast spread on the first day had good variety, the staff lacked basic hospitality training. They were unwelcoming and non-smiling. When I requested a table to be cleared, the staff simply pointed to another empty table and told me to sit there instead of cleaning the one I preferred.
The staff is extremely rigid; they flatly refused to modify an order even moments after it was placed, stating that no changes are allowed once an order is registered.
Requests made via room service for basic items went completely unfulfilled.
On a positive note, since I had an early morning check-out, the hotel was kind enough to provide a packed breakfast upon request. This was a thoughtful gesture that I appreciated.
The hotel has potential, but the staff desperately needs professional hospitality training. A more guest-centric approach would go a long way in improving the stay experience.
