Very homey & budget friendly place

Such a nice family and great accommodation in the heart of Ubud. Loved staying here, felt very safe, calm and homey. Great breakfast for only 40K IDR too! I will definitely come again soon and stay longer this time! I would highly recommend for solo travelers as well as couples.

Great Stay!

This place was great! Lovely quiet Oasis with entrance right on Jl Hanoman . Very conveniently located and near many sights including a short walk to Monkey Forest and many restaurants.
I had a Superior room with a balcony looking over the beautiful swimming pool. The room had a/c and a new bathroom. Very charming and relaxing.
The Dewa family live in the small compound and both they and the staff were very kind.
I spent 3 nights here and will be travelling around Bali for another month. On my return to Ubud in October I will definitely be staying here with Dewa again

better options in the area for the same price

They need to buy new bedsheets because there are tons of stains on the current sheets. The bathroom needs to be updated too. The pool is a dirty green color.
Housekeeper does not do a good job cleaning the room. You will find random dust spots and dead bugs.
Wifi is very spotty. This place would be a poor option if you are a digital nomad.
The view is good if you stay on a upper floor looking out over Hanoman.

AVOID

DO NOT STAY HERE. We arrived at the bungalows to be told that they were fully booked. We had had this booking in place for over 2 weeks. When we asked further he simply laughed and said that they had messaged us 20 minutes ago. 20 MINUTES BEFORE WE WERE MEANT TO CHECK IN. He told us we should go online and find somewhere else to stay and also said that it happens all the time. We asked if we could use their WiFi to book somewhere else and he smiled and said sorry it’s broken. He did not apologise once and left us stranded in Ubud with nowhere to stay, sending us off with only a laugh as he seemed to think it was funny. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
