This was such a beautiful property and the people were so helpful and friendly. I loved my huge room and the view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the A/C worked perfectly. It’s the perfect location to easily explore Ubud, and it’s down an alley so it’s nice and quiet. I was a bit skeptical when I first showed up and walked back late at night to check-in, but everything exceeded my expectations. They arranged for airport transfer that was much appreciated because I arrived after 24+ hours of traveling. Thank you Mumbul Ubud!

Location excellent! In the center of town.
Lobby, no lobby, there’s a reception desk along the alley.
Room was spacious, bed was ok, pillows ok, sheets didn’t smell clean and had stains. Towels smell like mildew. The bathroom had ants on the sink.
They had food at the hotel but I didn’t try it.
Staff was very attentive and helpful. They brought me clean, nice towels after I complained about their smell. I think they could do better in regards to the linens otherwise I would have given them 4 stars.

Despite being extremely close to one of the busiest streets in Ubud, I was pleasantly surprised at just how quiet it was here. An oasis of tranquility within the craziness of Ubud. Our room was lovely, with an amazing view of the river and forest below. Staff were super friendly, and could not do enough for you. The only downside was the boiler is quite small so you cannot have a long shower, but this is a minor issue and not something which mattered much to us. Would still recommend as everything is within walking distance, and the further out spots are a short bike ride away (but that would go for any accommodation in central Ubud).

I chose this hotel just to have breakfast in the Ubud Water Palace.

Mumbul Ubud is staying in Ubud this time.
The reason for choosing his home was simple and crude,
That's the back door that leads directly to the Mizukuni Palace.
It and Puri Saraswati Dijiwa Ubud are sister hotels,
But it has a family of just over 100,
Breakfast is uniform at Cafe Lotus.
This means that when the Mizunomiya is not open to the public,
You're already sitting by the lotus pool eating breakfast.
No tourists,
No noise,
Only temples, lotus flowers and ubuds that have not fully woken up.
in this moment,
It's really hard to replicate.
Breakfast is in the form of a set menu,
It's not complicated.
But the environment itself is already worth the fare.
The hotel is right on Ubud Main Street,
There are convenience stores, cafes, night markets,
Ubud Palace, Ubud Market are nearby,
just a few step and you can solve everything,
No need for a taxi,
That's a real plus in Ubud.
Of course the disadvantages are obvious,
The hotel is really old,
And the water pressure in the shower is very low,
The bath experience is noticeably short-lived.
if that trip only stop in Ubud for one night,
Want to see the Mizukuni Palace at the earliest possible time, in the quietest state,
That Mumbul Ubud is a straightforward choice.
But if you care about the hotel's old and new, bathing experience,
or want to leave more time in the room,
Then it probably won't be the kind that satisfies you.

We actually stayed at the OMA property out of Ubud. It was fortuitous as it prompted us to explore more of the region. Beautiful stylish facilities and extremely comfortable. Staff were great. The relaxing stay that we were looking for away from the bustle of Ubud itself.
