Great accommodation and staff
Stayed here in April 2026 from 14 to 18 April, in one word "AMAZING"!!!!! The people of Villa Blubambu are so sweet, nothing was too much and super nice. We had a suite with a beautiful bathroom, everything was tip top order. the accommodation was neatly kept. in a quiet neighborhood and could walk to the center and beach. We will definitely be back here, the intention is in 2028.

Just wonderful!
We recently spent a wonderful fortnight at Villa Blubambu, catching up with our daughter, who we hadn’t seen for three years as we live in UK and she is based in New Zealand. Despite it being in ta built-up area with other villas surrounding it, it is, for the most part, very quiet and peaceful. The one disturbance we had from a neighbouring villa and over-exuberant young folk, was swiftly dealt with by the security guard (who is on hand 24/7) without us even having to ask us to intervene. The place is wonderful and the staff are amazing - anything you need, it’s there almost before you’ve asked! Gede, the owner is fabulous; always on hand either by message or in person and spent a long time organising cars for us and recommending places to visit. The ladies who looked after our rooms and brought our food were friendly and helpful and Nyoman, the gardener, is a lovely guy - always had a smile on his face
The beds are so comfortable and the (much needed) air-conditioning very effective and swift to cool down the room. Everything we needed was on hand, including instant hot and hold water, a fridge and a safe. The breakfasts are wonderful and will be served at whatever time you like. We stayed in the superior suite and our breakfast was served on our balcony - unless, as a couple of times, we fancied a change and ate at the larger table in the garden or in the communal dining area inside.
The Bali bed in the garden is WONDERFUL!
Seminyak beach is only a five minute walk away via a narrow pathway - ask staff where it is as we found it by chance and it’s a long walk round otherwise. Also, there are no lights along the pathway so make sure you take a phone so you can use the torch. Walking the opposite way outside the villa takes you to a street with many shops, bars and restaurants - the road goes in for MILES! - and also a very handy supermarket.
We were extremely lucky with our neighbours staying in the 2 villas closest to us, all of which were friendly and courteous. The same, I’m afraid, can’t be said for the (frankly odd) man staying in the ‘tucked away’ villa at the bottom of the garden. The only times we saw him was when every day, twice a day, he took residence on the communal couch in the shared lounge area, where he ensconced himself for hours, shouting in German into a phone, or when he was asking us when we were leaving! We would have let this go without a mention, had he not, the minute we had left after a tearful farewell to our daughter, immediately set on her, shouting and stamping his feet, for daring to sit on the couch to have her nails painted, something which she had OKd with the owner! I mention this guy as he apparently stays there a lot, and when he does, seems to think he owns the place because of that fact.
All in all, I would describe Villa Blubambu as an oasis of calm (odd guy excluded) set in beautiful, expertly tended gardens with wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. We would definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, stay at Villa Blubambu again - next time though we would go as a larger family group and book all four villas.

Slice of heaven
Fabulous stay..immaculately clean..amazing facilities..beautiful staff..lovely tasty breakfast..villas are above and beyond our expectations.
Met with the owner who was lovely and deserves every bit of success that these villas bring him!
Won't stay anywhere else now when in Seminyak.

Yet another wonderful stay at Blubambu. Our favourite Bali Haven right near the beach in Seminyak
We have stayed at Blubambu before and will continue to book there when visiting Bali. Every thing about it is kept to such a high standard. The staff are the best. The breakfasts are amazing. The accomodation top notch. Love the 20 metre pool. Large lush tropical garden surrounds secret locale so close to the beach. It feels like a little tropical oasis. Such a special treat. Thankyou team Blubambu. Hope to see you all again soon
