Great place to stay

It was definitely the best accommodation we had in North Sulawesi. Very kind staff always ready to help. Very clean rooms, nice breakfast. Good location next to the market and mikrolet station. Nice view from the rooftop. Highly recommended

Not recommended, despite friendly service

The rooms at Leos Hotel Tomohon are outdated, badly damaged and do not correspond to the pictures. Especially the bathroom was in poor condition, with mold and a consistently intense stench. The noise from outside and from the hotel itself was constantly heard. In addition, there was no Wi-Fi, although it was stated in the description.
Positively noteworthy is that the owner was very helpful, gave us many tips for the area and organized our onward journey. In addition, there was the possibility to rent a scooter, and the central location is convenient.

Terrible place

The place is terrible, the smell of carrion from the market make us sick. We upgraded are room to have AC and the room was in a middle of a corridor with no window. AC was not clean full of mould. Inside, the smell of mould growing on the walls was terrible. Water from AC was getting out on the wall, and the wall was completely wet. The bathroom was full of water because the flush was broken. Other rooms were full of people’s stuff , shoes probably left by the guests everywhere, garbage stored on the way to “rooftop cafe”, great view on volcano but terrace is a disaster, nobody took care about this place. Three guys in reception sitting and doing nothing. Even water dispenser was not working. They didn’t care.

Comfortable stay

We got the superior room which is small with a small window. The fan could not cool the room down until 11 pm. I would go for delux room with a/c next time. Breakfast changes daily served on the rooftop with beautiful view. Staff were friendly many with little English....Joshua from the front desk was great. He spoke well and assited with travel, laundy, restaurants and more. Good stay in Tomohon.

Good choice for one night

The rooms and bathrooms are very simple and you hear everything from the rooms around you. But nevertheless it is a good choice for one or two nights: breakfast (which is quite good) is served at the rooftop terrace, value for money ratio is okay, very close to the market and the staff is really nice. They ordered us some food when we arrived, they told us a lot about things to do and they organized a guide for the volcano tour. The guide (who often makes tours with guests from Leos Hotel) was very nice and knows a lot about the nature, the volcano, the history of this area and speaks good English.
