A family farm offering ace BnB.

What a great start to our Wild Atlantic Way journey! Opening with a glorious bay view, then welcomed by charming Dympna then Enda into our spacious, comfortable and spotless room. Our 3 days' breakfasts were varied and so tasty - not many food miles there! Ample guides and maps laid out in the delightful lounge, and our hosts were so keen to point out extra spots to enjoy while we explored the spectacular local peninsulas and pretty, prosperous Bantry town. Highly recommended.

We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean and wind (way better than the Spotify soundscapes)

What a stunning location, ocean views from atop a hill looking down on rolling green fields and the Atlantic Ocean below, with Bantry nestled in the distance. Wonderful hosts and accommodation at a converted farmhouse that is steeped in family history and character (one beautiful table in the dining area is polished dark wood over two hundred years old). The rooms are spotless and the bed was really comfortable. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean and wind (way better than the Spotify soundscapes) and then could get up before brekky and take a walk down a path to view the coast. Brekky was delicious. You couldn’t ask for more welcoming hosts. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

A home from home

Wonderful stay. The room, while basic, had a very comfortable bed and an en suite. What more could you ask for? The view of bantry bay from the bedroom window was outstanding and the hosts were great! I enquired about a certain breakfast item and to my surprise, it was provided for breakfast the following morning. Therefore I can say nothing was too much trouble for them. I will return for sure! Very accommodating. A very tranquil stay.

Delightful stay outside of Banty with wonderful hosts

This is a family run B&B in addition to being an active farm. We found it delightful. The rooms and their appointments are sparkling clean and good, albeit at the moment somewhat reminiscent of previous decades. The breakfast is excellent. What makes this most special are the hosts and the way the entire family gave us the feeling of being warmly welcomed guests in their home. We found the location perfectly positioned for our tours of the Beara Peninsula, Sheeps Head and the Mizen Peninsula. With a bit of driving, it could also be a good starting point for the Ring of Kerry. We loved this stop and would love to recommend it further.

Wonderful stay

Just spent a wonderful four nights at Dromloc House, Bantry.
Room spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Delicious varied breakfast with cereal, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, breads with a lovely home baked soda bread. Also includes a choice of cooked full Irish breakfast or other hot choices.
Views stunning, outdoor seating overlooking the bay and very peaceful.
The hosts Enda and Dympna go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
