Beautiful country estate! Lovely family. The perfect stay!
We only stayed one night and immediately regretted not staying more. You may not likely find a better B&B experience in Ireland than Farran House. Centrally located in County Tipperary to many of Ireland's premier destinations, make this your HQ for the week while you explore. Melanie and Ken are wonderful hosts. This is a working farm, and they live an active life, but they were always available to talk or answer questions. And the breakfast was the best we had during our tenure in Ireland. Our room on the second floor was perfect (see the sunset view taken from our window!), and the bathroom was both large and private. Our only suggestion would be to arrive early in the evening to give yourself plenty of time to walk the grounds, see the animals and enjoy a cuppa before drifting off to sleep dreaming of more adventure to come the following day. A perfect stay!
