Comfortable homey hotel in great location
It was very comfortable and thoughtfully planned. There was a kitchen table and a desk/vanity in the bedroom. In addition, there was plenty of good lighting in every room (this is something I think is hard to find in most hotels or airbnb's). There was plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, and the bed was also comfortable. Also, plenty of useful storage space and hanging space. By the time we went back to Tel Aviv, we had wished that we had arranged to stay for a longer time at this hotel in Jerusalem.
Everything was absolutely spotless and clean. Linda, who runs the hotel, was hugely helpful in providing tips and local information.
When we return to Jerusalem, it will be for a longer stay, and we will want to stay here.

We have no intention of apologizing for the location of our apartments. In 18 years of operation and hundreds of reviews our location was one of the major things we were most praised for. The German Colony in Jerusalem is considered to be one of the best areas in Jerusalem due its central position and tranquil atmosphere.
We are very transparent regarding our location in the heart of the German Colony and it is mentioned many times. We are proud that you have Cafe’s, restaurants, shops, bank, post office, pharmacy etc just a in few minutes’ walk and that you can get to the major attractions easily without having to have a car.
We are not aware that the word suite has the meaning of an outskirts or not central location. If you’re looking for a rural surrounding there are a few very nice villages within a short driving distance from Jerusalem.
