as soon as possible again !!!

This is the second time we have been to this paradise, a true insider tip. From the fairytale, very well-kept and spacious outdoor complex with a great pool, ample shaded parking, a delicious South Tyrolean breakfast in a fine ambience to first-class beds and mattresses, guest card with free use of all public transport centres in South Tyrol in a prime location leaves nothing to be desired. Extremely pleasant host family!

An oasis of peace

I have to admit honestly that I had to embark on the adventure “Ansitz Pünthof” first. But before long, one of the charms of this gem has captured.
The Pünthof promises a lot from the outside, but offers even more from the inside. The thick old walls house wonderful modern rooms with an excellent bed, a large bathroom and a balcony with a wonderful view of the manicured garden.
The Pünthof is a B&B, i.e. there is a wonderful breakfast that impresses with excellent regional quality and is served with great attention to detail. Friendly Pünthof spirits take care of you and fulfill every wish. Enjoy your breakfast either in the modern breakfast room, in the antique parlour or outdoors directly under the fig tree :-).
The Pünthof is excellently connected to the hiking and cycling trails of the region, directly on the Adige and within walking distance to several restaurants.
Nestled in the green oasis there is still a sufficiently large and clean pool, which will surely warm up in the next summer days. He was still very refreshing with us.
A big thank you to the Wolf family, whose hospitality has given us a few relaxing days.

Couldn't Have Been Any Better

This family-run B &B set in a medieval castle-like building left nothing to be desired: perfectly located for hiking, close to public transport, property in perfect shape, spacious, gorgeous rooms, top-notch breakfast buffet - you name it.
The outside pool with afternoon bar was a nice ending of a day of activities.
The Algund Guest Card included offered free or reduced entrance to several museums, cable cars etc. and free public transport throughout South Tyrol.
Highly recommended!

Back in paradise unchanged

We are an elderly couple and fell in love with Ansitz Pünthof last year. The owners, the Wolf family, do their utmost to make their guests feel at home. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is superb, full of homemade goodies. The grounds are beautifully tended, with flowers everywhere. And it's very quiet throughout. The swimming pool is large and was a bit cool in May but we quickly acclimatized. Down the road is a good restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating.
Hopefully we'll be well enough to enjoy this marvellous retreat next year again.

A dream refuge from all our cares

Our room overlooked a beautiful garden strewn with roses and magnificent trees, a huge pool just behind them and in the distance vineyards and apple orchards against a backdrop of the snow-capped Dolomite mountains.
We had breakfast on a balcony with the same breath-taking view. And what a breakfast. Crisp whole grain rolls and bread,lots of fruit, homemade plum jam, tangy Alpine cheeses and all the cereals you could ask for, plus delicious yogurts and home-pressed apple juice. Frau Wolf, our charming hostess,did everything to make us feel at home in aTirolean castle which has been the family home for centuries.
