Clean..very pleasant..helpful

Great place to stay. Clean..fully equipped...spacious . The owners were very helpful. Even took us to the local supermarket as we didn't have a car. Would stay there again. Spacious pool...well kept...surroundings were panoramic and beautiful.

Lovely Setting, Pretty Basic Though

PROS:
* Lovely Private Pool
* Great Views From Apartment
* Big Spacious Apartment
* Plenty Of Parking
* Great WIFI
CONS:
* Very Basic Apartments
* No Air Con or Fans Provided (Was V Humid)
* No Tea Making Facilities (No kettle)
* Was a Funky Smell (Keep Sink Plug in at all times)
* You’ll Need a Car To Get Places
* Can’t Walk to Barga (Road is too tight)

Great value place to stay in Barga

I am just back from spending 5 days at La Vignola and it certainly exceeded my expectations! Situated a few miles outside of Barga on Strada per Castelvecchio it is definitely advisable to have a car to get about. La Vignola is a collection of about 5-6 apartments joined together amongst nice grounds in a very quiet location. There is a decent sized swimming pool with a shallow end and deep end making it suitable for all and sun loungers for lying around the pool. The apartment itself that I stayed in was fairly basic but a decent enough size, sleeping four people comfortably and was very clean. There was a gas hob and microwave for cooking but we didn't use them due to the many restaurants available in Barga that we wanted to try. A kettle and toaster may have come in handy. There were plenty of towels and bed linen available.
To check in you have to go to the Alpino Hotel in the centre of Barga first of all which wasn't overly clear on the website I booked the accommodation through as it just gave the address and not the hotel name. We were then met at the La Vignola apartments to be given the key and shown around. It is also necessary to check out and pay at the Alpino Hotel when leaving.
There is sufficient car parking space at La Vignola and it is a place I would recommend for families due to the fact that it has a pool and is on the whole reasonably priced! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Barga!

Pace e tanto verde

Abbiamo soggiornato qui in 4 dal 9 al 13 agosto. È una struttura con vari appartamenti immersa nel verde, la vigna da una parte e il bosco che delimita il torrente dall'altra. La piscina è ben curata e offre un bellissimo panorama sui monti circostanti. Si trova a pochi minuti di macchina da Barga, bellissima, e anche a piedi si può raggiungere la casa di Giovanni Pascoli a Castelvecchio Pascoli. Nei dintorni vi sono vari percorsi per camminate nel verde e tanti piccoli borghi antichi e silenziosi. Appartamento spazioso e abbastanza attrezzato. Per chi ama la natura e la tranquillità ma anche escursioni interessanti.

Relax e panorama mozzafiato

Complesso di 10 appartamenti immerso nel verde a pochi chilometri dal centro di Barga. Zona tranquilla, ideale per trascorrere qualche giorno all'insegna del relax e della buona cucina in famiglia o con gli amici.
Appartamento semplice e funzionale con angolo cottura. Ottima pulizia e personale molto cordiale. Piscina privata molto ben curata dal simpatico figlio del proprietario.
Consigliatissimo per rapporto qualità/prezzo!!!
