Excellence in Puglia
The rooms in these old "trullis" are worthy of a 4-star rating with all the comfort one can expect.
A calm and relaxing place, whether near the pool or in the midst of the Trulli.
The breakfast is very generous, with homemade products suitable for everyone.
All the staff were attentive to our needs throughout the day; however, there was a slight downside regarding the gentleman who took care of breakfast, as he really lacked friendliness and a smile, making us hesitant to ask him for anything.
Unfortunately, we did not try the restaurant, which was a bit too gourmet for us, but other guests found it very good.
A secure parking area is also available.
Otherwise, our stay was perfect; thank you again for this place, we will return, that is for sure!

Very pleasant.
The staff is very polite.
I would make it adults only and put a kettle for tea and coffee in the rooms.

Quiet, off-the-beaten-track, enchanting bijou Puglian hotel
The hotel accommodation is in trulli, the traditional agricultural/countryside dwellings of Puglia. We were in trullo no. 1 which was set on its own with a lovely patio area to the rear overlooking the local countryside, perfect for early evening drinks with beautiful butterflies and little geckos for company.
Breakfast is served in the dining area. Despite the small numbers of guests, the buffet selection is large and varied, with all one would expect from a continental breakfast as well freshly baked goods each morning such as cakes and quiches. As one would expect and hope, it is very unhurried affair.
We ate three times at the on-site restaurant. TIP: one has to pre-book to eat in the evening; you can't just turn up. This is fine dining and the food is delicious. The portion sizes are just right and one never walks away feeling either still hungry or too full. I understand the menu changes as the seasons change so it is unlikely to alter during your stay. That said, we ate something different each night we dined there, only a pudding being a dish eaten twice.
The swimming pool is large enough to accommodate all those who wish to use it at any one time and there is never any argument over sunbeds! Even better, there is no piped music that one finds almost everywhere else. The only noise one will hear is the splash of water as someone jumps in or the chink of ice against glass in a G&T.
All staff were excellent and as attentive as they needed to be. Nothing was ever any trouble and always accompanied by a smile.
The bed we slept in was comfortable and the air conditioning was efficient. The bathroom was as big as the bedroom and the drench shower was almost too good to leave.
The hotel is perfectly placed to explore the local area. Martina Franca and Locorotondo are well worth visiting and we also went to Matera which is ninety minutes' drive away. The effort of the drive is rewarded.
Highly recommended.
