Good base for travelling

Nothing fancy but good location for exploring
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in March as a base for exploring lake como and the surrounding hills!
First impressions were not great as we had some issues with check in which delayed us getting sent the code however this was rectified by a late check out being granted to compensate which we were grateful for.
Very easy access with codes to get in and out, feels very secure and is opposite a super market so ideal.
Close to a small town which we did visit however we much preferred the atmosphere and friendliness in como town which was a bus journey away or a 40 minute walk.
Overall a clean room and good for short stays, nothing fancy but did the job for us and had a lovely spacious balcony for breakfast.

Perfect for short stays

We have stayed here for one night. The check in was easy, you receive a code via email which you can use to open the parking and the room, there is no ‘standard’ reception. The room was nicely decorated. The room, the stairs and parking newly renovated. Parking is very secure, in the basement and you can take the lift to the rooms. To find the hotel was easy when coming from Switzerland way. We arrived late so all restaurants were closed, but there is Mcdonalds 5 minutes walking distance and it’s open till late. Would not recommend this place for a long stay as it can be a bit noisy (due to busy roads near by), but for 1-2 nights is perfect as a quick stop to sleep over. The room had a nice balcony (not sure if all rooms had it) and the view was nice. The air conditioner worker very well, the room got cold very fast. The lake is around 10 minutes walking distance.

Zwischenstopp

Lage für Zwischstopp nach Süditalien gut, unkompliziertes einchecken, obwohl wir deshalb wenig erwartet hatten waren wir über die Sauberkeit und den Zustand der Zimmer doch etwas schockiert überall Haare der Vorgänger, sogar an den Handtüchern, in den Ecken der Zimmer Spinnenweben und Staub der letzten Jahre...Sauberkeit sieht definitiv anders aus

buon punto di appoggio

Camera n.2 confortevole, letto comodo, buona insonorizzazione e temperatura all'interno.
Molto utile il tavolino con i due sgabelli ed il garage sotterraneo privato.
Check-in con key code molto semplice e veloce.
La doccia è grande, ma la pressione dell'acqua è scarsa e manca un appoggio per i saponi.
La pompa di calore del climatizzatore era rumorosa.
Il bar sottostante è chiuso la Domenica

Una piacevole sorpresa

Stanchi da un lungo viaggio dalla Germania arriviamo all’ Officina Rooms … a pochi passi dalla dogana troviamo subito l’alloggio. Comodissimo con il parcheggio interno con il quale entri con un codice inviato in precedenza e altrettanto per le camere. La camera è veramente super accogliente e super pulita. Bagno molto carino con una bella doccia … ho girato molti alberghi e airbnb ma questo non lo batte nessuno. Un arredamento molto particolare ma che ruberei sicuramente qualche idea per casa mia. La mattina seguente la colazione al bar di sotto annesso alle camere. Accoglienza e gentilezza top! Se ripasseremo da Como sappiamo già dove alloggiare! Grazie
