Outdoor area very nice, hotel very nice, food / Service disaster
The location is very nice. Our suite was also very nice. Could be a little cleaner. Pool and beach are very nice.

More appearances than being
The hotel has an enviable view and direct access to Lake Maggiore – not a given, as there is usually a road in between. The website is emotional and the images atmospheric – marketing: successful. Our notes refer to things that are not mentioned or outdated there. Everything else: good to very good.
The latest news on the website dates back to 2023. Pictures around the pool are outdated: no more loungers, just plastic furniture. Dining by the pool no longer possible.
The staff are mostly friendly. Language skills as described are sometimes missing – there were misunderstandings. More serious: The management including restaurant management is unfriendly. No buongiorno, no real interest in well-being. Differences in dealing with regulars vs. new guests were striking – despite the same prices. Too bad, because new customers could be regulars of tomorrow.
The hotel equipment corresponds only partially to the website: If you book a suite on floor 1 or 2, you get the expected. The standard rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor. Stock are not shown online – the difference is significant. In the hallway no marble, but simple flooring. Sanitary facilities yellowed in the bathroom, patched hair dryers, perforated towels, broken balcony doors that opened in the wind – consequence: Water in the room. Reaction: We got towels to mop up.
Air conditioning cannot be controlled individually – only via reception. It took five days for us to have a suitable attitude, which then only worked for three days. After that: no more response to inquiries.
The restaurant is visually appealing, especially the terrace. We ate there only once, therefore no review of the kitchen. The breakfast buffet is solid. The quality of cheese and jam could be better, but overall fine.
Neither the pool nor the beach were staff available for safety – not a “salvataggio” as it is known from public beaches. You can do that, but you should put up a sign with a reference to personal responsibility.
Conclusion: The location is a dream. But leadership, equipment and attention to detail remain behind. How often in the industry you rest on the situation. Too bad – because with a little more effort this hotel could really shine. Future-proofing is different.

Great stay by the lake
Incredible view
Very nice beach
Lovely staff
We had taken half board and the food was excellent
Take the rooms on the 1st or second floor facing lake with balconies
Master Gabriel and his staff: thank you and bravo
Maria at the reception is kind and professional
Thanks to Tina (or Pina) I have a doubt who took care of us throughout the stay and her little brown colleague whose name I do not know who were adorable.
And the brown gentleman who lives in Orta who is also very nice.
Only small downside: the parking regulations that could be offered but maybe it is the practice in Italy (not very important) and the bartender of the beach who must be a seasonal transient and who is very unpleasant with his customers.
In short, a hotel full of charm and the desire to return
