Beautiful place
Central location and beautiful place the very kind lady will definitely be back very nice Levanto for nice walks moi we did the walk from Levanto to Monterosso challenging but beautiful scenery recommended for those who have a little training.

Despite the kindness of the lady I have to review very negatively.
The musty smell in the room and at the entrance of the B&B was unbearable.
Just look at the photographs.
Decadent place, already from the outside, full of cracks and scruffy.
To us guests no one gives us money, paid 90€ to spend a bad night.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT
We stayed at the B&B for 3 nights.
As soon as we arrived, we immediately noticed that the photos of the structure, in its exterior, are untrue. The building is poorly maintained and the smell of mold, even in the rooms, is immediately tangible.
The location is great and central.
Reception side, we noticed contrasting things: kindness on the one hand but also neglect (you can not neglect the customer waiting to park the car to talk to a friend).
After a quick introduction, without even having the room, the owner took care to ask for the balance...
That said, given the smell of mold even inside the room, the same is essential but complete. Good cleaning inside.
A sore point is the parking lot. We are given a parking pass, however in the Reservation Conditions parking was guaranteed at the property. Note that in Levanto, on mid-August days, parking is rare (even for a fee) and the simple pass does not guarantee anything. At the risk of not knowing where to park the car.
Another sore point is the breakfast: served from 8 to 9, no flexibility.
A poor quality Italian breakfast is served. Poor quality packaged products. However, there are two striking aspects: minimum and measured quantities without possibly being able to use the so-called "double coffee" or two dishes (a slice of cake and another snack).
Air conditioner with non-adjustable temperature.
Finally, I regret to say it, but I find it absurd that customers have to clear the table by bringing plates and cups to the counter.
To recap: great location and below average cost are the only advantages.

The perfect place to stay in Levanto !
We had a wonderful stay at « A due passi dal mare » in July 2024. Francesca & Maurizio are extremely kind and caring. We enjoyed a lot the breakfasts with home made cakes (grazie Francesca!), that you will take in the lovely garden, surrounded by the beautiful lemon trees ☺️
The place is convenient to go anywhere (5min from the train station, 5min to the sea and 8-10min to the boat departures).
I fully recommend it!

I am humanly sorry to write a negative review, but our experience at this B&B was truly sad. Already at the moment of confirming the booking and receiving the deposit it was difficult to get in touch with them almost to the point of thinking they had done something wrong, then once we arrived at the place the disappointment was terrible. The structure is located on the ground floor of a four-storey building in a clear state of decay, and once in the room we couldn't believe our eyes and our sense of smell... MOLD everywhere... a crazy musty and damp smell, it seemed like being inside a cellar!! The room has evident mold stains on the walls and an incredible stuffy and stale smell, even the heating is not suitable for the room also because it was deliberately kept low by the owners, in fact we discussed a bit about having a degree (1) higher in the room.. so much so that we really slept badly, in the cold and with this unbearable musty smell.. Even the cleanliness generally leaves a lot to be desired, there's an air of carelessness and let go since the guests arrive anyway.
I repeat, I'm sorry because the owner accepted some of our requests and makes delicious cakes, but this isn't good.
I really hope that this review can be of help and not just taken as a judgement, but as far as we are concerned we absolutely do not recommend being guests of this structure.
