W la Puglia
Soggiorno rilassante, mare da favola! Alcune difficoltà legate al momento storico che stiamo vivendo!
Un plauso ai ragazzi dell'animazione capitanati da Gigi De Angelis! Mio figlio 17enne è stato inserito in una bella comitiva e resteranno delle belle amicizie!

merits and defects rosamarina Puglia
Among the various possible destinations, we preferred this Resort especially for the basketball court but alas we only played half a time in poor conditions... Fortunately there was the animator Domenico del padel who kept us active every day with well-organized games and tournaments... to really appreciate he never got tired... We were lucky enough to chew some padel thanks to him who 'replaced' the alleged basketball! But basketball was just the writing-- Same as the photos; Resort photos need to be changed because live is a whole other thing....... Both pool and beach and restaurant. Not to mention the rooms and bathrooms!!!
But let's move on to the service:
the availability of waiters does not exist in the hotel , waiters at the pier but very kind. All in all though there are few staff you need more waiters;
Cleaning of rooms made with rose water;
Then at the buffet always the same things; 4 stars with always the same food?
Last but not least if you want a drink you pay more and even (I was not believing it at first) we had to pay for water.
But let's move on to the service:

Family Holiday
The hotel is set just off the main road in a quiet resort with good access to a beach. The hotel is well laid out and the rooms are very clean and modern in their feel albeit that the air conditioning could be better (it kept it cool but was still warm at night, could have done with being stronger)
You must prepare yourself that this is a typical Italian hotel and as such whilst the staff are friendly you rely upon the reception for being understood in English (reception is very helpful). It's also quite difficult to decipher for yourself around the hotel including the dining areas as none of the signs are translated into English at all so you will need a translator app on your phone or have studied Italian at school (can't complain really as typically British our ability to speak Italian is non existent)
The hotel has 3 pools but only 2 have access all day the other pool is restricted hours (in line with siesta times really). The beach is nice but quite small in its size so beds can be quite away from the shoreline if you have young kids that you need to watch, also you can find that whilst beds are not being used they have been reserved (for a charge) which is a little frustrating.
The bands to identify what package you are on are intriguing as well. We had booked Half Board, there is also an All Inclusive which when we booked was not offered (then there is an additional band which is like premium inclusive). We didn't explore the detail as it was not relevant to us as a family but I would recommend just checking that you understand what you are getting. Also a small thing is Beach towels are not free provided, you have to pay a deposit of 10 Euros per towel and then 3 Euros each time you want them replaced, not a big thing but you would expect normally for a 4 star hotel to be included.
Food - Once again if you are used to a 4 star hotel rating from the UK you will need to adjust your mindset. This is a very Italian approach and I would suggest that it is not as comprehensive as you would normally expect. Breakfast is mainly continental, with only a small amount of hot options (no fresh eggs, omelettes etc), lots of pastries etc. We did have dinner at the hotel on the first night but was disappointed. We had envisaged fresh pasta, Italian meats and maybe even fresh pizzas for the children. It is a buffet and although it has a hot station it's not freshly made as you would expect in some hotels, this may just be a preference thing, however it was fresh and whilst not our choice you could find something to eat (not ideal with kids though)
The hotel is nicely located for a great beach up the road (about 5k), called Torre Canne which allows you more space and is great if you have kids and want to be near them but still be able to sunbathe. Also in the evening for a 20 Euro cab each way you can visit the beautiful town of Ostuni where you will find lots of restaurants which are very well prices (pizza is like 6 Euros and a meat dish about 12), the food is more what you would expect and the town is very friendly with great places to get ice creams.
If you hire a car (we decided too so that we could get out and eat in the evenings there are some great towns nearby with places to visit and great restaurants to cover all tastes.

Un posto pessimo
Abbiamo preso in affitto una villa per tutto luglio dopo 15 g sono andata via!! Il villaggio è penoso non c'è internet o ti devi appogguore ad un bar sgaruppato che c'è lì! I topi una marea banchettano la sera con noi per non parlare della spiaggia mai visti tanti pellegrini con ombrellino spiaggiana tutti appollaiati allucinante!!! E poi i servizi supermercati ecc ecc di un sudiciume mai mai visto. A mai più vi faro una pessima pubblicità.

Resort è un eufemismo
Il resort potrebbe anche andare il posto è bello ma la conduzione è scadente
Ti fanno pagare anche l’aria in compenso il servizio è scadente .
Animazione imbarazzante.
Cibo mediocre
Ti fanno pagare il parcheggio
In spiaggia le prime tre file si pagano a parte
Soft inclusive solo nel resort in spiaggia dove trascorri la maggior parte del tempo l’acqua fresca si paga e anche cara.
Infine i sono trovato un grosso topo quasi dentro la stanza
