NOT A SIMPLE STAY, BUT A SPECIAL MEETING! WHEN A "SECOND CHOICE" BECOMES AN UNFORGETTABLE MEMORY...
How lucky to have found the complete hotel chosen by my husband in the center of Perugia! So I opted for the second choice that turned out to be great: a really great B&B! Nestled in the Umbrian hills, with a wonderful view that extends to the Sibillini Mountains, it is the ideal place for those seeking tranquility, hospitality and authenticity. A few kilometers from beautiful destinations such as Perugia (10 km), Spello, Rasiglia up to Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, all easily accessible in a short time.
The room was spotless, comfortable and equipped with a practical retractable kitchenette with microwave, electric coffee maker and kettle. Herbal teas, coffee and sugar are always available: small details that make you feel pampered.
Breakfast was simply excellent: bread with sourdough and organic flours, kefir, yogurt, jams and desserts... all strictly homemade and really delicious! Donatella’s attention to my husband’s lactose intolerance was very special: she worked hard to prepare and bake desserts suitable for her needs, making us feel welcomed with authentic and caring care. A rare attention, which shows how much he really cares about the well-being of his guests.
The real added value is just them, the owners, Donatella and Francesco: extraordinary people, great travelers and walkers, able to tell their adventures with an engaging and genuine enthusiasm. Their welcome is warm and authentic; always available and attentive to meet every customer request.
It was fascinating to hear Francesco proudly recount their almost self-sufficient lifestyle, between solar panels, vegetable garden and the loving care of their cozy home and escapes, around the world, as soon as the last guest leaves the B&B.
Only regret: not having had more time to listen to the stories of their travels and have the opportunity to know them better.

Giusy sei fantastica!! Con grande emozione e gratitudine che possiamo dire? Con alcuni ospiti si crea un clima particolare e non basta il tempo per raccontarcele tutte. Vi aspettiamo comunque anche solo di passaggio e vi auguriamo tante belle cose, un abbraccio

The house above the hill
We stayed in this lovely B&B above Perugia 8 minutes from the center. Fantastic atmosphere, beautiful view and unsurpassed welcome. Donatella and Francesco are two great homeowners, they made us feel welcomed and were very considerate during our stay. Excellent breakfast with local products such as the delicious jams of Donatella and its sweets. I would like to leave a super positive note for Francesco, a great cicero, able to clearly point out roads, access points to the city, attractions and entertainment in a simple and effective way. it was nice to visit his vegetable garden and his eco-sustainable creations that make the house alive and loved. Super recommended. We had a great time. Thank you Donatella and Francesco. You are unique! Friends of Liguria.

Excellent..
Donatella and Francesco are two wonderful people. Right away they make you feel at home. We stayed in the apartment which is gorgeous, clean tidy.
Donatella with his breakfast of his own production has pampered us.
The location is perfect for its tranquility and wonderful views.
Francesco in his native Bergamo is now in effect an Umbrian doc. Very nice and person with a lot of experience ..
Donatella and Francesco, in our stay, every day advised us where to go .. in short, what more can be expected.... VERY GOOD

EVERYONE HAS HAPPENED, SOONER OR LATER
You know the shower with the shower head or the drain clogged? You know the lights in the room or in the bathroom that were half struck? And insufficient air conditioning? Not to mention traffic noises, dogs, squawks, etc.? What about those hospital breakfasts with plastic snacks? You know the managers a bit grumpy and that if you have to ask them some information it seems they have to do you a favor? Here, bravo, now take all this and turn it inside out! Cleanliness, efficiency, comfort, tranquility, enjoyment of the products of the earth at zero meter, immersion in a context where rigorous environmental sustainability does not affect the enjoyment of the holiday at all. This is only part of what I found at the Terraces and that gave my motorcycle holiday of trekking, art and landscapes an invaluable added value.

An oasis in the Umbrian countryside
A lovely place surrounded by greenery, a few km from the city of Perugia (to move and 'essential car).
We enjoyed the silence of the place, the lush greenery, the view of the Umbrian mountains, and the kindness and affability of the owners. Recommended to disconnect from the city frenzy and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Umbrian countryside.
