A nice stopover in a simple and welcoming campsite
We made a stop at this beautiful campsite in Pilzone during our road trip through France, Italy, and Switzerland, and it was by far our best campsite!
It is ideally located by the water, is quiet, and is perfectly maintained. A big bravo for the cleanliness of the restrooms, which are impeccable and very well thought out for campers.
What gives this place its soul are also the managers: Mario, Coline, and the rest of the staff. The welcome is extremely pleasant and human; we feel like we are part of the family even though we are only strangers crossing paths for a short bit of the way. A huge thank you to Mario for his kindness, his warmth, and his daily attentions that perfectly embody Italian hospitality. Thanks also to Coline for her great friendliness; we loved chatting with her. We became so attached to the atmosphere and the team that we extended our stay...
We actually felt a real pang of sadness when leaving.
We had barely arrived at our next campsite at Lake Orta when we were already missing the Pilzone campsite. It's flawless; we will go back there with our eyes closed. Thanks for everything!

Incredible!
We are French. And we moved every 2 days for 15 days: Lyon, the Queyras, Milan, Bergamo, Como, Iseo, Orta and we will finish in Lausanne before returning to the north. We booked everything at the last minute. After camping in the Queyras (very good but very basic), we arrived at the Pilzone campsite a bit by chance, much to our delight. Mario was very welcoming right away; in the Italian way, he greets you with great gestures of friendliness, says hello, and asks if everything is okay every time he crosses your path. Coleen at the bar is super nice too; we talked a lot, so much so that although we had booked 2 nights, we stayed one more night. The restrooms are very clean, well-designed, there is a place to clean your laundry, your camping gear obviously, located on the edge of the lake, you will only have to walk a few dozen meters at most to have your feet in the water. The campsite is quiet, you quickly understand that those who book are regulars, really everything is perfect! Then we left for another campsite on Orta, arrived this evening, my partner and I regret so much not having stayed at the Pilzone campsite, we have heavy hearts with regret tonight, because in addition we became attached to Mario and Coleen in a short time.
Thank you very much for everything, we will be back!

Great Camping
It was a lovely camping with a great camping pitt in the shadow.
The owner is very nice and happy to help if you have questions. If you want, you can drink a coffee or get breakfast at the front.
You can enter the lake from the camping there is a small grass field you can lay your beach towel.
There are bikes you can take for free. And a pizza place just around the corner.
The only thing is that there is a rooster from the neighbors that will make sure you don't sleep in till too late.
All together, we had a great time and will come back for sure!

Great campsite…
For us it was one of the most beautiful campsites. Right on the lake. Not too big. The owner Mario is a very warm person. We arrived two days early. We were given a very warm welcome and it was no different when we left. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything Mario.

Best affordable camping at Lago d'Iseo
If you are in the Lago area, please go here. You will not be disappointed!
Nice big spots with shade on this small camping.
Value for money.
Very helpfull owners.
Close to the nice town of Iseo.
From the camping you can walk into the lake.
We will return next year!
