Charming surprise
This is a stunning structure and deserves staying there! The village is charming with beautiful views! And so is the resort with breathtaking view from terrace. The owner of the structure absolutely kind and doing her best. Lots of attention to the aestethycs and detail. Simple, historic cobbled stoned house, very clean and all comforts to be expected from an outback resort out of mainstream touristic flow in addition to super confortable bed . Food in the village delicious. Highly reccomended for those who want to deepen their visit of Italy.

Favour this place for a heavenly sojourn
Where do we begin?
Prossedi, on its own, is a heavenly place and unlike any other I have visited in the Italian countryside. My father's side of the family is from Prossedi and I have been visiting this place for years, but, this year, instead of bunking with family, my fiancé (who proposed to me at the B&B, a site he chose for this special moment because he was so enchanted by the scenery) and I stayed at the B&B and had a spectacular time.
We hadn't chosen our room beforehand and left it up to the hosts to choose it, because all of the rooms displayed on the web site were absolutely stunning and it didn't matter to us which we got (of the rooms that accommodated two adults). I'd never stayed at a B&B before, so I'm not certain what the usual conventions are, but this stay at the Locanda was perfect for us city folk: we slept in the tranquillity of the countryside, woke to the chirps of birds, stumbled into the shared kitchen and community space, prepared ourselves some coffee, took some cookies and juice (provided by the B&B) to the shared outer terrace overlooking the hills and valleys, and enjoyed our breakfast al fresco. It was splendid, and while we stayed there for four days, the view and the experience never got old. Best of all, our room and the shared spaces were well-maintained and always clean (lucky us, since we're used to hostels and two-star hotels).
This place is a gem, and the hosts are easy to reach, wonderfully friendly and hospitable, and helpful. For those who venture off the beaten path, go to Prossedi; go to Locanda Persei. And if you're around for lunch and dinner, Osteria Persei, affiliated with the Locanda, is its own unique experience and boasts local foods and wines that are sure to leave an indelible mark on your palate and your memory. These places are not to be missed! My fiancé and I are already planning for our next visit :-)

My Experience
I wanted to go to Prossedi because it is my late father's hometown. I got connected with a cousin who had stayed there previously. Words escape me to describe the hospitality I experienced! From day one until I left this wonderful place, I was treated like a Queen! The hotel is spotlessly clean, charming and comfortable. The location is perfect! Right in the middle of town but, not noisy at all... peace and quiet. The rooms are all unique and beautiful. WIFI was provided for us the minute we got there which is a huge plus for this little hamlet snuggled away in the mountains! The view is breathtaking! The beds are like sleeping on clouds. I took breakfast included and it was delicious, lots of good choices spread out before me, a true feast fit for a king! A real family atmosphere! Daniella, her husband and her family were the perfect hosts. The staff were outstanding, always helpful and... spoke english!!! Smiles were contageous and genuine. I am going back one day! I highly recomend this beautiful B & B hotel. The bathrooms are big enough and the showers are spacious. Molto grazie, mille grazie!! Donna

Second time visit
Second time we visited this place and it's even more fantastic then the first time! Celebrating my mothers 60th birthday with friends and family here. The rooms are beautiful, the place is genuine and the atmosphere is great! Daniela and Mirco who runs the place welcomes you with a smile and perfect service and can help you out with almost anything. If you want a real Italian visit for a deasent amount of money you should really visit Prossedi and Stay at Locanda Persei.

Tutto stupendo!
Soggiornare nella Locanda Persei è sempre bellissimo! Daniela ci ha coccolati con le sue colazioni, allestendo dei tavoli sulla terrazza esterna, che gode di un affaccio unico sulla Valle dell'Amaseno. La struttura, antica, affascinante e densa di storia, è valorizzata in ogni suo angolo. Bellissimo e utile lo spazio comune, dotato di cucina e ogni comodità. Sono annesse anche due stanze ottime per lo smart working o per rilassarsi leggendo un libro, che si affacciano sui vicoli di Prossedi. Bello tutto! A prestissimo
