Good memories

My son and I travelled back to Randazzo after 20 years. This was his nonno and nonna's house, so we have lots of good memories especially of them. My son's father was born in Randazzo and we went back so that he could see as an adult where his father came from. We stayed in the same room as we did all those years ago, I have a better memory of things. We took it easy and relaxed, reminiscing about the time we spent here all those years ago. We found the beds comfortable and had a good stay. Of course it has been altered, so that you have your own shower and toilet. Our room was the bigger room and was cool even though outside was warm. We went to the restaurant San Giorgio e il Drago for our lunch/dinner. It was very close and the meals were very good. I have fond memories of staying here and I am so glad that we came back to see it.

The not-so-cheap budget option in Randazzo

The rooms look really old and the furniture is terrible. Beds are not great…
If there was another budget option in town, they would be forced to lower their prices.
Don't miss the view on Mt Etna from the roof terrace.

A perfect B&B but with noice most night from a dog

We sleept in the suite at this B&B which was perfect situated in the town with a wonderfull vue to the river on one side and to Etna on another and at a good price.
But a lot of time at night we were awakened by a barkningen dog quite near to the B&B.
We will never stay here again - but just because of the dog.

Relax ai piedi dell'Etna

Ottima posizione nel centro urbano di Randazzo, con parcheggio pubblico facilmente accessibile di fronte all'ingresso della struttura. Ottimo panorama dalla stanza, la n° 2, da cui si gode un'incantevole vista della Valle dell'Alcantara. Pulizia della camera a livelli più che soddisfacenti
La struttura, e la stanza dove ho soggiornato, necessita di una bella rinfrescata. Le finestre sono vecchie per cui entrano spifferi e si sentono rumori. Il bagno porta con sè nelle piastrelle una serie di chiodi e tasselli a memoria di un recente passato di mensole di plastica e porta asciugamani che ahimè non ci sono più per cui, bisogna aiutarsi a poggiare gli asciugamani o sulle sedie o sul termosifone. Il saliscendi della doccia è sorretto da nastro isolante per bloccare il doccione. Infine il wifi lascia molto a desiderare, ovvero era più il tempo che non funzionava che non quando rilasciava il segnale. La struttura non offre la possibilità di fare la colazione in sede, benchè abbia un ampio vano cucina - soggiorno. Vengono consegnati i classici coupon. A tal proposito si consiglia vivamente di farsa dare quelli del Bar Arturo, storica pasticceria, mentre si sconsiglia di prendere quelli del Bar del Corso, in quanto alla vista dei coupon il titolare del bar suddetto è stato scortese, arrogante e cafone.

Uno splendido soggiorno!

Per lavoro ho soggiornato in questo splendido b&b per parecchi giorni: ottima posizione, semplicità ma estrema attenzione negli arredamenti, disponibilità e gentilezza dei proprietari hanno reso questi giorni estremamente piacevoli. Consiglio a chiunque si trovi a Randazzo per visitare questa splendida cittadina medioevale di scegliere questo posto così accogliente!
