Die Wohnung besteht aus zwei einzeln vermieteten Zimmern mit einem Gemeinschaftsraum (Küche). Die Lage ist sehr gut, Bahnhof Termini und Colosseum sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.
Typisch italienisches Frühstück gab es in einem Cafe in der Nähe.
Schon vor dem Aufenthalt gab es freundlichen E-Mail Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Wir durften problemlos 3 Stunden eher die Schlüssel für das Zimmer entgegennehmen und unser Gepäck abstellen.
Für die Nutzung der Küche allerdings sollten pro Tag 10€ gezahlt werden und die Küchennutzung ist dann nur für den kompletten Zeitraum zu buchen. Wir haben dies dann nicht genutzt. In der Nähe findet man sehr leckere kleine Restaurants.
Die Tür zur Dachterrasse ist abgeschlossen, man kann diese nicht nutzen. Dafür gibt es im Haus einen sehr alten funktionstüchtigen Fahrstuhl (auch sehenswert).
Negativ: Die Bettwäsche war fleckig und die Handtücher rochen muffig (Handtücher trockneten in dem kleinen Bad allerdings auch kaum).

We stayed at the Lombardo in Rome’s Monti neighborhood. It was a fantastic, safe, and walkable location close to major attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, but several important details weren’t made clear at booking. The listing implied we were reserving an entire apartment, though it was actually a room within a shared unit. Our private bathroom was located separately in the shared space and had to remain locked, trapping moisture resulting in a persistent damp smell.
The water pressure was poor, and getting hot water required turning on other faucets (as noted on a handwritten post-it from the host), making the temperature hard to control, either scalding or freezing. During our stay, the host spent extended time in the shared kitchen during two early guest check-ins, which made the shared nature of the space very evident and occasionally awkward when needing to access our bathroom.
For those booking through Expedia, note that the Rome city tax isn’t included in the booking total and must be paid in cash directly to the host. This is mentioned in the property details but isn’t obvious upfront.
Overall, the Lombardo offers a great location and comfortable room, but travelers should be aware that it’s a shared space with some quirks in communication, plumbing, and booking clarity. If you're able to spend a little extra for a better space I would.

When we arrived the room was hot. We were extorted out of 36 Euros cash just to get the locked up air conditioning remote. No one was ever available for help. We spent over an hour trying to figure out how to get a cab for vary early in the morning when we left. We had to leave an email asking how we needed to "check out". We received an email back several hours later telling us how. The room was nice. The bathroom was spacious for European standards. Just couldn't contact anyone when you needed them.

El cuarto estaba limpio físicamente pero las toallas olían a humedad, las sábanas no sabíamos si estaba limpias. Y la cama estaba un poco incómoda.
El anuncio no es claro si es un cuarto un alojamiento entero.
El lugar tiene una buena ubicación.

Sono rimasta molto delusa perché nella descrizione della camera era scritto che il bagno era in camera ed accessibile ai disabili. Il bagno non è male, ma sicuramente non è accessibile ai disabili visto che la porta è molto stretta ( allego fotografia). Fortunatamente non era una necessità della mia famiglia avere una struttura con bagno accessibile ai disabili per cui ciò non mi ha creato nessun problema. Invece mi ha infastidito molto che il bagno fosse privato ma esterno. Non avrei prenotato se avessi saputo ciò. In camera c'era il condizionatore che non ho potuto utilizzare perché molto rumoroso in quanto vibrava. Sono rimasta due giorni e non sono stati ripuliti la camera né il bagno dopo la prima notte. Non ho trovato la sistemazione come descritto su hotels per cui sono rimasta molto delusa.
