Surprise and enchantment

We came here by pure chance, to stay one night with our girls. We were amazed by the beauty of the villa, suite and park. Mr. John. Denny was a wonderful guide and we could sleep in a kind of enchanted castle where time seemed to stand still four hundred years ago! Priceless awakening with a view of the park, with peacocks scraping up to the door. Unforgettable, romantic, magical! we hope to be back!

Improvisation

An interesting historic residence with a few rooms well-furnished with original furniture. There is no reception. Good breakfast with savory and sweet products.. In our suite, the air conditioners were malfunctioning. During our stay, we never had hot water. Despite repeated reports, the problem was not resolved. The room was never tidied up

Makeshift structure

We book a suite with breakfast, specifying in advance that a person in the family is celiac and lactose intolerant. Upon arrival it is impossible to contact the reception by phone, which is deserted. We are helped by the manager of the wine shop, and we manage to get the room. One of the two rooms has no heaters, and the temperature is very low, hot water bottles and electric heaters are available. Too bad the electrical outlets at 10 p.m. also stop working. In the morning we get up, poor and not good breakfast, no gluten-free and lactose-free food. We were told that they had forgotten and that I would still have to pay the same amount. The only positive note, the cleanliness. Not recommended!

Loud and Late Night Party at the Villa

My wife and I stayed at this Villa near Bassano de Grappa for two nights in September. We were looking forward to a quiet and comfortable stay as we were both tired and feeling like we are getting a cold. We had flown from Canada and driven from Milan.
When we checked in the receptionist told us there was a birthday party planned that evening in the courtyard but that it would be over by 111pm. What really happened was that the DJ music and partying went on until after 2am. We complained at midnight that we could not sleep because of the noise but the music continued past 1am and then the drunk partygoers were loud and did not leave until after 2am. The party attendees were not hotel guests there were locals that booked the Villa courtyard for their birthday party and setup loud speakers and had a DJ with dancing.
The Villa was making money from a party and we as hotel guests suffered for it. I asked for a room discount for the one night of $50 Euro which they agreed to but three weeks later the Villa has still not provided a credit.
I would not recommend this place to stay. It has an interesting family history but it is poorly managed - the staff is minimal - you have to carry your own bags up to your room (no elevator). It is a rental venue for outside events so you don't know what will be taking place on the property. The rooms are not very soundproof. There was a pool table out side our room which other guests could use at any time. If those guests want to stya up late and play pool you suffer the noise and incovenience.

marriage

We were there for a wedding, very nice villa, but absolutely to exploit in the middle of summer if you want it for a wedding, they in my opinion gives it its maximum, just a tip, put a handrail to go downstairs in the toilet that is downstairs, there is nor are in poor art that fit well in this context.
